This is an easy jacket to wear, and the performance level is amazing( I am in the outerwear design field, professional opinion). I purchased this for my boyfriend, and I ended up wearing this jacket on a 3- hour side- by- side off- road trailride. We ran into a full- on torrential downpour( with hail), which lasted about 30 minutes. Water was pooling in my lap( on the jacket). After the ride, I was fully and pleasantly surprised that this piece kept me completely dry underneath. I do n't think Mountain Hardwear is marketing this as waterproof, so this performance was impressive. My boyfriend has worn the jacket on dirtbike trail rides( layered over his MHW vest) and finds the windproofness to be compelling as well. His favorite new riding jacket.

It fits well and is cute, I love the willow color. I have n't worn it yet so not sure how well it performs. I am 5' 2 '' so the length fits perfectly over the top edge of my pelvis and only exposes my tummy if raise my hands overhead. If you have a longer torso it may be more of a crop top.
