[ I was a little skeptical about the jacket at first and how it would really fit. To my surprise the jacket was light weight and fit loose. I really like the white with the blue lining accent. This was a jacket that could go with casual or even something cute. I wore it on a day where it was mid to high 70 with some wind and it worked just fine for me. I really like the material that the jacket is made out of. The only thing I would like to see if this jacket comes in any other color.

[ So I just want to start out by saying that it ’s way too warm for me to wear this out and about right now, but it will definitely be a staple once the weather cools down. It ’s such a lightweight jacket with snap enclosures where the pockets are which is a nice little throwback feature that you don ’ t see often in jackets. I got a medium and I love that it ’s a little oversized, but not too large so as to where you ’ re drowning. I love that the outside of the jacket gives windbreaker material, but the inside doesn ’ t meaning you won ’ t sweat at all in it like a typical windbreaker. I personally love this jacket and can ’ t wait for it to cool down so I can wear it somewhere other than inside my house.

[ Love the old school vibe of this jacket. The light blue accents add an interesting detail to the white colorway. I love that it is light enough to wear for a run and does its job blocking the wind while still allowing me to keep cool. I also like that I am able to fold it small to pack it away for a trip. The one thing I would change is the buttons on the pockets. I would prefer them to have zippers so I know my keys or phone are secure, but that is just a personal preference! Overall, I love this jacket and can ’ t wait for fall to wear it more often!

[ I really enjoy wearing this windrunner jacket. I got a size up for a roomier feel and the comfort is on point. The mesh interior is very soft and feels great against the skin. The white color feels perfect for something to throw on during summer and its breathable enough for mild summer days. The color accents on the striping and the silver zipper meld perfectly with the pillowy white of the rest of the jacket. It can be styled many ways and I ca n't wait to try with more outfits. I do n't intend to use this jacket for running or outdoor training but I can tell it would be great for workouts in a more fitted size. The water repelling fabric is definitely a bonus for any outdoor use. Overall this jacket is a big plus for me!

I am an OR employee and have used prototype versions of this jacket over the past couple years. The fabric works very well at giving both wind and light weather protection AND breathability and stretch. For running, mountain biking and as an `` up- hill jacket '' for backcountry ski touring it is amazing because it adds warmth in cool and cold temps, but breathes enough to prevent overheating so much better than traditional windshells. And it is ultralight and highly packable. Best of all worlds.( It does not replace a rain jacket though. It is water resistant, but far from waterproof.)

I bought this to try out in spring/summer in Washington and it is fantastic. It's super light weight but does a great job at blocking the wind and light rain. The fit is trim but not overly loose( I got a large with a 41 '' chest, 6', 188 lbs). It has quickly become my go to windbreaker and has replaced my Arc'teryx Squamish hoody. Definitely worth the buy!

This jacket is extremely comfortable. I 'm 5' 6 '' with broad shoulders and a more or less triangular shape( not a body builder by any stretch, though). The medium fits me perfectly with room to layer. I expect it's long enough for taller people, too. It breaths well, provides good wind protection, and a small amount of protection from precipitation. The first time I tried running in this jacket, the hood flopped annoyingly into my field of view. I have since discovered that you can just fold the brim back once or twice to tighten up the fit. This may look a little wonky, but it works beautifully, and it's the only option, since there's no drawstring adjustment on the hood. It's very nice to have hand- warmer pockets, which many wind shells omit.

This jacket is a light, packable, and comfortable. Perfect for warm weather adventures that just need a little extra layer to block the wind. It packs down into a small pouch that can be tossed in your pack or beach bag for that `` ace in the hole '' when needed. Unlike many competing brands, this jacket is made of a very soft material and does not have the crinkle feeling like you are putting on a trash bag. Also unique to this jacket compared to it's competitor's is that it has front handwarmer pockets as well as a chest pocket( most packable options do not). The pockets in my opinion bring it from just being a quick grab backup plan to an intentionally worn and functional jacket. The chest pocket is a great spot to quickly store your cell phone and the front hand pockets give you that sensation like you just put on your favorite hoodie sweatshirt. I have worn it while hiking mountains during the summer in Maine to hanging out on the beach in Costa Rica on a windy day.

I 'm so happy with this windbreaker! It's super lightweight but really does cut down on the wind. The fit is very flattering. And more importantly, it has hand pockets! That may not seem like a big deal, but I 've been disappointed with numerous other lightweight windbreakers on the market that do n't have hand pockets. The pockets are zippered too. This will be a versatile jacket to throw in my bag for spring, summer, and fall. I can see myself using it for hiking, biking, and around town.

This ultra light weight jacket does it all! I use it for early morning summer/fall commutes, runs, field work, and sun protection even in hot weather. Surprisingly warm and wind resistant for the super thin fabric, almost paper weight, yet breathable. The easiest layer to throw in a purse or bag. Was looking for a high- visibility running jacket similar to the Patagonia Houdini Air( wind resistance+ breathability). I have both the regular Houdini( size L) and Houdini Air( M). Keeping this in M. FIT: I 'm 5' 1, 150 lbs, 34DD, round belly. With a Smartwool 250 baselayer or a thin long- sleeved cotton t, fit is close to the body, but not tight( Houdinis run much slimmer); pretty forgiving of my belly:) Perfect length for me, falling around mid- hip; Houdinis are longer, falling below my butt. FEEL/FUNCTION: I 've worn this for multiple runs( incl. light rain, strong wind). This feels somewhere in- between the Houdinis in terms of wind- blocking and breathability. V. light rain beaded on the surface of the jacket, but left a mark when smushed into the fabric. Material is a matte, slightly stretchy, more fabric- y( vs. plastic- y) material- like a slightly thicker/heavier Air. Hood fits over thick pony- tail securely when fully zipped, and stays in strong wind. Doubles as a running and casual jacket better than the Houdinis due to a more forgiving fit around the mid- section( for looser- fitting street clothes), shorter length( more flattering for my short stature), and zippered side pockets. Packs down small enough for an upcoming 2. 5 week trip to Europe( 24L bag). COLOR: Azalea appears neon coral in the pictures, which is what originally attracted me. Unfortunately, it actually is not neon at all, and is more like a salmon pink that leans more pink than orange. It is slightly see- through. LOVE the green( Grove) colorway- something about the color+ matte fabric texture+ matching zippers makes it look SO smooth and rich and clean. Did not intend to get this color, but decided to try( and keep!) it based on the( accurate) pictures.

[ I want to take a minute and review the Nike Sportwear Windrunner jacket, I got it a little big so my daughter would have some room to grow these next few months the jacket is light weight, loose fitting and very ideal for a nice day out in this fall weather. My daughter doesn ’ t like to wear really big coats so this one is perfect and she loves it! The zipper glides smoothly up and down. [ Let me start off my saying i totally love this jacket. It is for my 8 year old son. He ’s average height for his age and this jacket fits him a little loose. Which is fine for me since he can easily wear it over a sweatshirt. The design is relatively basic yet classic at the same time. Black with white can never go out of style. One of the great features of this jacket is the ribbed cuffs by the wrist. Although the arm length is a little long this feature stops the sleeve from going over the hand. The hood is a nice size and easily covers the entire head and face. So far we have used it in light rain and it has kept him totally dry. The material is soft. Its not too heavy but provides great protection from the wind and rain. Its light weight and very comfortable as well. Its my sons go to jacket when he leaves the house for most off the fall season. Hes only had it for a few weeks so far but the material has held up great. No signs of wear. Its pretty easy to clean. I highly recommend this jacket to anyone with kids. Its stylish and very practical for a very reasonable price. I would definitely buy again and plan on getting more in the future.

[ I remember being a child and loving my windbreaker jackets and pants, but they had really gone out of style. So it was exciting to see this new one from Nike that not only has that wind jacket feel to it but also is updated to look more stylish. Unfortunately, it is not for me but rather my kiddo. The fit is great. Sleeves were a little shorter than expected, but still fit. The fit along the shoulders and back were great, both zipped and unzipped. The length is just right too, not too long. Kid has been comfortable in it through a couple of wears.

[ Employee of mountainhardwear] I have been using multiple Kor products for a while and added this one to my closet recently. It has many uses but what I use it for is early morning hikes and rides. It adds just enough warmth over a base layer to reduce the bite of morning chill. The fabric is crazy stretchy and soft, and while I have n't been rough on this one, my insulated Kor Strata is a ski layer I have hammered all season with no issue. This thing is crazy packable too so it makes it easy to shove into a pocket or my lumbar pack.

There's a reason you see so many really favorable reviews of this jacket. It checks all the boxes. Packable, super light, blocks the wind, repels mist or light rain and looks great. Pull it out of your kit at a windy summit or the top of a pitch. If you are slim and athletic, it fits true to your usual size. I have a paunchy `` dad bod '', so I had to go up one size for midriff room. You wo n't have to, though. I also have the lined hoody version of this garment, and like it equally for belaying or just spectating at the base of the crag.

The good is that this is the lightest shell I 've ever put on- it's as light as a feather. But, I still do n't understand why MHW wo n't put in cinch waist cords anymore? It's not so great to have air come up thru the bottom with no way to tighten up. Additionally, the no wrist cuff is bizarre.
