These ice packs are worth every penny! The stuff in my Yeti cooler will end up actually FREEZING on a cool day. Plus, they do n't bulge outward and end up leaking like cheap ice packs do. You wo n't have to keep replacing them every year due to wear and tear issues; and my boyfriend and I use them every day, so they get plenty of use. I dropped one once in just the right spot and the grey cap broke apart, but you can see underneath that it's sealed SOLIDLY. It does n't leak at all. The cap is just for decoration and protection.

This product is the most effective wrap I have used. I am using it for elbow tendinitis so it is a little bulky. Mobility is compromised when I use it returning to work after a swim. [ Got this pack looking for an all arounder for cragging, hiking, long multi pitch days, skiing, and quick travel trips. Seems to fit the bill pretty well so far, nice and light weight and the stashable hip belt works better than expected. The only downside is the bottom set of compression straps on the side are permanently fixed( would be nice if they were clipped like the top set so they could be used to really tighten a rope down for long approaches). All in all a good pack for what it does, perfect balance of weight and features.
