Needing lots of hydration while golfing in FL and KY; got this cooler and it hasn’t let me down yet. 6 rounds of golf and my drinks( water bottles- some with iced tea) have been kept cold over the typical 3. 5 to 4 hr rounds. Purchased for a 3 night, 2 day music and camping festival to keep my food cold and safe. while I did add more ice, the ice on the bottom remained the entire time, from Thursday afternoon to Sunday when I got home. I am happy with the ice retention. It is great! I also purchased this for the size( and price) and while the cooler is large enough for one person's food, it is very heavy. I did n't use the shoulder strap but rather put it in a wagon and wheeled it to my campsite. I wish this smaller version came with wheels. The weight is why I did n't give it 5 stars. I realize it is heavy to keep the ice cold but I overestimated my ability to carry it and will likely never use the shoulder strap.

The ice stays cold, I did the first test by tossing a sacrificial bag of ice in the cooler to pre- chill it but that ice only melted about 3/4 cup so had a spare bag of ice just lying around. The tips are perfect as well for loading. I only wish the cooler dividers had a few more options, namely a 3/4 divider widthwise instead of only splitting it 50/50.

It will hold ice for 2 to 3 days depending on how hot it is outside. When it gets too low I drain it and add another bag of ice. Easy peasy! Other stores sell this same cooler but sneakily without the drain. Do n't make that mistake! The drain is very necessary. Dick's version has the drain plug. [ I first liked this cooler because of the size. It's really nice to have this in my car when coming home from the grocery store or when taking a group to the beach or park. What I did n't realize until I used the cooler was the amazing design. The design makes this so much better than any other similar product because it folds into such a small footprint. In addition the material and build of the cooler is of high quality. I look forward to getting many years use with the cooler.

I have owned this cooler backpack for about a month now. It is the best bang for your buck. Got so many compliments about it. Doesn ’ t even look like a cooler. Also it ’s sized right to be your personal item on a plane. Holds about 16 cans with ice. Highly recommend!

[ I was looking for something to take with us on the hot days and easy to carry. The backpack has a front pocket, pouch on the side, a flat pocket in the cover, bungy cord on the other side, zipper cover, and a top cover. It is 10- 1/2 inches wide and 13 '' deep and 6 '' from front to back. The outside material seems very durable with the side is the cooling material. I still would put an ice pack in the bottom. Nice to take for a day trip.

[ I put Oniva's OTG Traverse Cooler backpack to the ultimate test by using it while hiking in Zion National Park. I carried 6 water bottles, snacks, sunscreen, plus an ice pack. It was heavy but it got the job done. On the side there is a bungie cord that is suppose to hold stuff but I found that whenever I sat down the backpack it would put out. I also took the backpack to the beach and carried 8 cans and a couple water bottles, all the beverages stayed cool.
