Outstanding! Purchased the ICF 18 a month ago and used for 8 days straight without any problem. We found our perfect temp was 34 degrees. This cooler was spot on with the temperature although the smaller compartment above the compressor was just a few degrees higher. We opted to use that area for soda cans and items that weren ’ t as sensitive to temperature. The main area kept things really cold. I used a refrigerator thermometer before our trip and felt the internal thermometer was spot on within a degree or two. For longer trips or families the 32( size wise might be better), but we are happy with our choice! The unit was powered with a portable power supply that kept our Igloo running all day while driving with power to spare! To be fair, the Igloo was in a climate controlled car nearly all the time. Hope this helps and we would highly recommend the Igloo ICF 18. It is also very quiet as someone else mentioned. The compressor noise is quite low but is there. The one option that would be useful is a wheel that would allow one person to move the cooler easily. So far no major drawbacks but then I 've just owned it for a month and hopefully this lasts long given it's not so cheap price tag.

This cooler really has everything I was looking for in a performance cooler. The insulation is great. It has secure closing tabs. It has a drain plug. It has a bottle opener. It is a little on the heavy side but all of the good in this cooler can not happen without some weight. Having said that, this cooler is much lighter than many of its competitors. Some folks dig on coolers not keeping cool as long as advertised. It is important to realize that if you put ice/drinks/food in a warm cooler you are bound to have some initial melting just to bring the temperature down. Add some ice prior to using the cooler and it will last really well. No question it's a great deal for what you get.

I like the Trailmate 25. It is big but not bulky or too heavy like some coolers in this size range. It has a metal handle with a nice rubberized grip on it. While similar to other models Igloo offers, this cooler has a seal in the lid, improved rubber latches, drain plug, and heavy duty hinges on the back. It is made in USA which I appreciate and is very solid. Not sure how many total days it can retain ice, since I only use for weekend use. I hope this lasts me many years. Overall I would recommend this cooler. Minor issues that could be improved: 1. I would like the handle to `` lock '' in the upright position to reduce the cooler from swaying side to side while carrying it. 2. The notches where the rubber latches secure are hollow underneath. This allows the latches to scrape/scuff the plastic edges which could possibly wear down overtime. 3. The drain plug could be a tad lower in the cooler so it does n't have to be tipped to drain the last remaining water. 4. I added no- skid furniture pads to the bottom to reduce scratches and scuffs and increase grip for transportation.

I got the ICF60 recently and finally got a chance to use it. I set the cooler to 0F, put about 15 pounds of frozen venison in the cooler, put the cooler inside the car and headed out. Over the course of the 6 hour drive, I never heard a sound from it and I was about 2 feet from it the entire time. About an hour from my destination, I had to unplug the cooler from the cigarette lighter. When I get to my destination, the meat was still frozen and hard as a rock! I will be using the cooler on all my hunting trips in the future!

I bought this cooler on a Friday morning since I was going camping in 90 degree weather and needed something that would keep my food cold for a few days. On Friday at 11: 00am I put 6( 7lb) bags of ice in it and loaded it up with tons of food I had prepped to feed 7 people. I got to the campsite at 3pm and the temperature was 92 degrees. I put it in the shade. Saturday it was 98 degrees. I got home Sunday( 92 degrees) evening and took all the food out and drained some of the water out and put it back in my car. I left ice in it because I wanted to see how long it would last. It has been in my car for 24 hours and there is still a good amount of ice chunks in it( see photo). I am impressed. I was worried as some of the reviews mentioned cheap handles but I feel like it is pretty sturdy and didn ’ t have any issues.

First and foremost, this was the cheapest cooler I could find on any site with the reviews it had so I took a chance. I go car camping a lot but I have always used other peoples coolers and never owned one myself. Needing lots of hydration while golfing in FL and KY; got this cooler and it hasn’t let me down yet. 6 rounds of golf and my drinks( water bottles- some with iced tea) have been kept cold over the typical 3. 5 to 4 hr rounds. The insulation on this cooler bag is first class! I usually put a plastic ice block in the cooler and it works great. Sometimes I’ve just placed cold drink bottles from the fridge and they are still cold a couple of hours into the round. Another great product from BagBoy. Thanks.

The cooler is a great add on, as it holds the water bottles with good amount of room. Though the cooler insulation is on the thinner side, the ice bottle will melt in 9 holes. The size of the cooler is good, and fits well, and allows the cart to be folded without removal of the cooler.

Took this cooler on a 7 day trek to the Boundary Waters in northern MN and it worked like a champ! I placed two- one gallon containers of `` salt ice '' in the YETI before we left on the trip. We cooked and ate out of the YETI all week with no real effort to make sure we kept it closed more than you normally would. When I returned home after 7 days I estimate 75% of the ice blocks were still frozen solid!

I bought this cooler a few weeks ago to replace my few year old busted and cracked( insert other brand here) cooler that was destroyed by the sun. As a full time fishing guide my coolers get abused especially since they sit in full sun every day. My 2 year old 75qt yeti that I use as a casting platform on the bow still looks like new! I bought this cooler for long back county trips with clients. It provides plenty of size while still fitting nicely in the bed of a standard pickup. The depth is not too deep and the length is not too long. We debated on the 160 vs 210, but for food practicality we decided on the 160 due to the depth difference. I would not suggest using ice like a a regular cooler; but Gel packs have worked very well for us.
