[ Bought this cooler for camping with our rv after spending a lot of money through the week on ice with our old cooler. This cooler keeps everything cold beyond what we ever thought any cooler could! When camping last August at the beach, we bought$ 15 dollars in ice. That ’s nothing compared to$ 20- 25 bucks before we bought it. I don ’ t think we would have spent that much, but it was so hot and humid, it played a part in ice consumption. Aside from that, we have gone 3 days without adding ice. The ice might be melted, but when you stick your hand in for a drink, it ’s still very cold! Highly recommend any Coleman products.

This cooler really has everything I was looking for in a performance cooler. The insulation is great. It has secure closing tabs. It has a drain plug. It has a bottle opener. It is a little on the heavy side but all of the good in this cooler can not happen without some weight. Having said that, this cooler is much lighter than many of its competitors. Some folks dig on coolers not keeping cool as long as advertised. It is important to realize that if you put ice/drinks/food in a warm cooler you are bound to have some initial melting just to bring the temperature down. Add some ice prior to using the cooler and it will last really well. No question it's a great deal for what you get.

The trail mate cooler is the perfect size for the backseat of your car. Having the ability to keep ice upwards of 4- 6 days is a great feature when traveling. The drain plug, which many coolers don ’ t have anymore in this size, allows you to urge water and add needed ice. For two people traveling we find it the perfect size for our needs. Also the weight of the cooler was a big factor in this purchase

I have a similar cooler from Igloo. I bought this one as a raffle prize for our golf tournament. Very well made and I like the handle and like the rubber lock down latches. The comparable size Yeti keeps your stuff cold for$ 250. This cooler keeps your stuff cold for$ 100. You decide if its worth it.

I like the Trailmate 25. It is big but not bulky or too heavy like some coolers in this size range. It has a metal handle with a nice rubberized grip on it. While similar to other models Igloo offers, this cooler has a seal in the lid, improved rubber latches, drain plug, and heavy duty hinges on the back. It is made in USA which I appreciate and is very solid. Not sure how many total days it can retain ice, since I only use for weekend use. I hope this lasts me many years. Overall I would recommend this cooler. Minor issues that could be improved: 1. I would like the handle to `` lock '' in the upright position to reduce the cooler from swaying side to side while carrying it. 2. The notches where the rubber latches secure are hollow underneath. This allows the latches to scrape/scuff the plastic edges which could possibly wear down overtime. 3. The drain plug could be a tad lower in the cooler so it does n't have to be tipped to drain the last remaining water. 4. I added no- skid furniture pads to the bottom to reduce scratches and scuffs and increase grip for transportation.

Was looking for a good tube for the boat for summertime and this is definitely it! Durable and easy to inflate and use, very big! Will use for cottage and just anchor it off the dock so we can swim out and and float on the lake. It even has a build in cooler to hold ice and drinks so you stay out there for a while.

This looks like great quality and super fun. It says it ’s for river rafting but we may use it to float in pool or lake. The back rest will be excellent to help relieve the neck when floating. Love the cooler too!
When selecting a marine insulation cooler, consider features such as insulation thickness, seal quality, and durability against harsh marine environments. Look for coolers with UV-resistant exteriors to prevent fading and damage from sun exposure. Additionally, features like built-in drainage systems and easy-to-carry designs enhance usability on the water.
Marine insulation coolers are designed with specialized insulation materials that provide superior temperature retention and durability in extreme conditions. They often have thicker walls and better sealing mechanisms to keep contents cold for longer periods, even in hot weather. This makes them ideal for boating, fishing, and other outdoor activities on the water.
Marine insulation coolers are versatile and can be used for various activities such as fishing trips, boating excursions, beach outings, and camping. They are designed to keep food and beverages cold for extended periods, making them perfect for long days on the water. Their rugged construction also allows them to withstand the wear and tear of outdoor adventures.
Many marine insulation coolers are designed with portability in mind, featuring comfortable handles, wheels, or even backpack straps. This makes it easier to carry them to your desired location, whether it's a boat, beach, or campsite. Additionally, lightweight materials can enhance ease of transport without sacrificing durability.
When choosing the size of a marine insulation cooler, consider the duration of your trips and the number of people you will be serving. Larger coolers are ideal for extended outings or group activities, while smaller options may be more suitable for day trips. It's also important to think about storage space on your boat or vehicle.
To maintain the performance of your marine insulation cooler, ensure it is cleaned regularly and stored in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid leaving it exposed to direct sunlight for prolonged periods, as this can degrade materials over time. Additionally, pre-chilling the cooler before use can enhance its insulation capabilities.
