These ice packs are worth every penny! The stuff in my Yeti cooler will end up actually FREEZING on a cool day. Plus, they do n't bulge outward and end up leaking like cheap ice packs do. You wo n't have to keep replacing them every year due to wear and tear issues; and my boyfriend and I use them every day, so they get plenty of use. I dropped one once in just the right spot and the grey cap broke apart, but you can see underneath that it's sealed SOLIDLY. It does n't leak at all. The cap is just for decoration and protection.

We freeze it over night or alternate to give to him to lay on and it last HOURS! Not only is Yeti Ice great at supplementing cooling our coolers it is also a great first aid product for burns. I accidentally burned my index finger while grilling. I used my 1 lb Yeti Ice to apply the cold compress for 20 minutes to my finger and it drew the heat right out.

Great addition to your soft cooler. Your ice will melt faster than a hard cooler but the Yeti ice on the bottom will refreeze it into an iceberg.
