This is a nice power brick that does the normal power brick stuff. I use it for camping and around the house when I am not near an outlet. It will charge my phone 2- 3 times, and added 40% to my jumbo iPad. I ’ m a fan of the quick USB- C quick charging. I discovered one hidden feature when camping, and this may be a happy accident. I didn ’ t see mention of this on the website…. When I was trying to plug my phone in while camping last time, I noticed that if I hit the button on the side of the power bank that it not only lit up the bars showing battery life, but it also lit up the plug charge holes. This is a really helpful feature when I don ’ t have a flashlight handy to figure out how to plug in at night. Whether this is clever design or a good accident, I like it.

[ Ampex was kind enough to send me this because I purchased a Tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, and backpack all from them. If I was able to do this over again I would. I would buy it myself because I love this power bank so much. I went on a multi day trip and was able to charge my phone once( didnt need to charge it more than 1 time at all) and still had a ton of power left in the bank. My favorite part about having this power bank is that I can charge my headlamp( not Ampex product) with it and can have peace of mind knowing that I can use my headlamp as much as I want and I 'll be able to have light my whole trip. I still use this product daily, not just up in the mountains!

The Rambler has quickly become an indispensable travel companion. I 've taken it camping, used it to power my laptop at the coffee shop and I have even flown across the country with it. I was a little bit worried that it would get flagged by TSA, but I have had no issues with it in my carry- on bag. I especially love that I do n't have to search for a power outlet at the terminal when I am flying. It is bigger than the 20K power bank that I had been using for a few years, but having a built- in AC outlet, wireless charging and more power capacity is worth it for me. I currently have an iPhone 12Pro that has an internal 2, 815mah battery and the Rambler provides nearly 4 phone recharges before I need to recharge it. However, I am usually using my phone at the same time so that is likely impacting my recharge rate to some extent.
