I bought this for hiking with my jack russel/rat terrier mix. He has an odd shaped body( long body with short legs) which makes it hard to find harnesses that fit him without rubbing in the armpits. This harness is very adjustable and fits really well. He ca n't get out of it when rolling around which has been an issue with other harnesses we 've tried. It's well made and very durable and really easy to put on/take off with the clip buckles on the top.

Real metal ring for the leash snap is also a big plus. I do n't know for sure if it 'll hold up for years without using it for years, but I 'd give it very good odds. It is much lighter weight, so I think it keeps her cooler, and when she jumps in creeks during her walks, it dries off much faster. It still feels like a solid harness, though the front range feels a bit more durable. I would definitely recommend if you 're looking for something lighter!

[ Pretty good pack for casual hiking. Most of the ones I looked at were poorly designed and crappy. It was also hard finding one that would fit Puppymonster's 44 '' chest. This one actually has room to spare. Takes a bit of adjustment to get just right but when you do, it works pretty well. He did n't seem to mind it but he was walking slow and cautiously with it on. Normally, he tears around, climbing on the biggest boulders he can find. He usually wants to cruise the trails at a brisk trot.( even though I do n't) I wound up having to keep trying to speed him up. Might be his Bernese Mt. Dog cart pulling instincts kicking in. Have n't used it much so maybe he just needs to get used to it. That's more a reflection on my dog than that of the pack.

Recently purchased a pet camera to keep an eye on two dogs that are home alone during the day and started being destructive. After 105 “ your dog is barking ” notifications on the first day and checking in on the camera to see the dogs jumping in the window sill barking and destroying the blinds, we decided to try this collar.
