I love it! I am really specific about sun shirts because I live and work on boats and wear a sun shirt most days. Full disclosure: I have tried the Crater Lake and Sunshadow before this and really did not like them. The Crater Lake is 1) kind of soft and does n't breath as well as this one and 2) had sloppy sewing so the sleeve hem unravelled after a couple months of wear. The Sunshadow was low stretch and super restricting to wear and the fabric stained really easily. This* Sunblocker* is amazing. The fabric is super quick drying but not scratchy, the sewing is really neat, and the fabric is stretchy and not restrictive. I sized up from S to M and am glad I did. I personally love the crop. It still protects my whole back, even when I bend over, but is n't too long. Overall, I 'm really happy with it!

This is the first time I found a ladies hoodie that is just right. Usually I buy men ’s and wear them as tunics. This jacket is exactly what I needed for Colorado's winter. Keeps me very warm without any layering though with layering warmth will obviously be increased. I would totally recommend if you are into snow sports or like being toasty during winter. As a South Florida resident for the past 48 years, I do n't find myself needing a heavy winter coat often. But this year, we were traveling to NY in early February, so my layered sweaters and sweatshirts were not going to cut it. I had an old( 15 years,...) winter ski jacket, that must have weighed 20 pounds, not ideal for travel. I asked around and was told Northface is the way to go for a lightweight winter jacket, for extreme temps. I went online, looked at the various styles and colors, and went with the Terra Peak Hoodie. I could not believe how light it was, and could not understand how this could keep me warm. Well, I soon found out what a great purchase I had made. Temperatures were in the 20's with strong winds, and I was toasty as can be. The hood is perfect for keeping the wind out and I quickly realized that I did not need to wear various layers underneath, becasue the jacket kept me warm. Additionally, it is so light and compact for travel, I was able to stick it in my carry- on bag with no problem. We are going to Iceland later in the year, and I am ready!

[ I received the SaunaTek Women ’s Hooded Jacket in size medium( for reference I usually wear a medium in tops). I am 5 ’ 5 ” 140 pounds and this jacket fits snug but not uncomfortably tight. I like the form fitting material which is made from Neoprene and Polyester. It is soft, flexible and very durable. It has a zip up front, pull stringed hood and side pockets. I also like the bright orange on the back and reflective strips throughout so I can exercise safely at night. I thought it was really unique to use the Microban technology in this jacket which helps prevent odor causing bacteria from forming. First impression is that it ’s very light, very warm for its weight, and breaths very well. If weight is important to you, this is a must get. It ’s essentially the jacket insulation without the jacket, so if you want wind protection just add a wind breaker. For some reason I was expecting it to have some stretch to it, but it doesn ’ t really, which is fine once you know to expect it. The outer material doesn ’ t feel soft, but the inner brushed material does. Overall a fan of the material, curious if they could add some stretch though, or maybe that would compromise the fiber insulating structure? Other request would be to do a version with no large branding, I don ’ t mind large branding on a jacket, but having it on a shirt or a base layer is less desirable. Would recommend.

[ I bought this as a mid layer, and occasional outer for moderate temps. Found myself wearing this all the time, as a mid layer with temps in the 20s, as an outer with temps around 50. Hard to see in pictures but the inner lining is super soft almost fleece, so provides similar warmth as a wool sweater( thinner of course), and the design of the outer material allows for breathability. Sizing fits perfectly. I ’ m 5 ’ 10 ”, 195 with 43 ” chest. Typically wear a large and this was no different. Not snug or baggy, perfect. Some hoodies the collar chokes your neck, not this one. And did you see they have thumb holes!!
