I bought this last month and am SO HAPPY I did! It's the first new club I 've purchased in almost 30 years( yup, 30!). I have a set of John Riley irons, and use my husband's Callaway Big Bertha 11 degree driver and 5 wood. I still have my John Riley Loft Wood( aka 7 wood), but wanted something I could hit off the fairway and get some distance. This club is perfect! I 'm a middle handicapper( ~23), and while I do n't hit the ball as far as I did 20+ years ago, I still aspire to hit some of the Par 4s and 5s in regulation. This club is definitely helping me achieve that goal. It's the first graphite shaft I 've ever used, and although its light weight took a bit of getting used to, it makes a really neat `` PING! '' sound when I hit it correctly. It's pretty forgiving, as well.

Bought this last week after going to the range for the first time. Got schooled up on a golf expert at Dicks and told me to go with this bad boy. This thing will make you look like a boss! It gave me the confidence I needed to go back to the range the following day. I was dropping bombs. 175 plus yards out, straight, with killer loft. I ’ m athlethic but this thing just made me look pretty darn good. It was fun showing up with this club and this club only after my workout wearing running shorts and a t shirt and have everyone give the the “ rookie ” look.

took it to the course today& it worked good for what I needed it to. rough lies where you need to hit low under a tree.. Im not good with a 3 or 4 iron but I can hit this one pretty good. My best shot of the day was across water hit the green within 6 feet. makes me want to try the 4h next, I wish there were more I really like this brand, I have the driver as well.

I 'm a senior( 74) with a moderately high handicap and slow swing speed. I always had hand- me- down irons, so i wanted to buy new ones. I did some research and settled on 3 possible available sets. When I went to Dicks, the associate asked some questions about my play and watched me swing a few times. He immediately suggested the Cobra Air- X which was one of the items I had researched.
