I asked him to review it, this is what he had to say- compared to a `` regular '' paddle, it has a lot more grip so you do n't have to flick your wrist too much to produce spin and you do n't have to swing as hard to produce more speed. He wanted to rate it 4 1/2 stars, so I rounded up. He thought the price tag was steep, but we had nothing to compare it to, so we are unsure if the price is commiserate with the quality of the paddle.

We got a table that came with some paddles that were just the dimple rubber glued to the cheapest wood you can imagine. I hated the feel. I got this one because it had the soft, flat rubber but it was n't as expensive as some of the others. It does the job. The feel is good.
