[ I have worn this style Keen shoe for about five years. I work in a super busy open kitchen restaurant. I do purchase an insole from a local shoe store for my plantar fasciitis which I have to use in all my lace up shoes. I have not found another shoe that fils my foot as well as this one for work and would recommend it to anyone who does similar work. I run around a lot with my job and turn many blind corners. So the lace up style of the shoe is better than kitchen rubber clogs. Also I work in a super humid environment on cement floors. So the waterproofing exterior and no slip sole is essential. This is the shoe for the job!

Worn for 12+ hour days with almost no break in period and they never hurt my feet. Very comfortable and breathable for being waterproof and steel toed. Most important- the steel toe did its job, protecting my foot when it could 've been crushed by a literal ton of weight. Extremely satisfied by and thankful for these boots.

They fit and feel comfortable. My feet are not tired at the end of a 10 hour day. Yes I recommend this boot if you are a true 10- 1/2 to 11 D/Standard shoe size. It ’s my 9th pair of varying styles I wear or have worn. I ’ m a backpacker and it ’s my shoe of choice do to there comfort and toe box size. Your toes don ’ t get cramped or pinched. I 've done Construction, Landscaping, and mechanic throughout my career and no matter the job my Keen boots always hold up. These make for great mechanic boots and the leather holds up well against oil and grease. Would love to see some of the easy flex rubber material added to the crease joints of these. n

[ you wo n't be disappointed, if you have a little wider foot these run wider than most boots. Been wearing this style for bout 7 yrs now was wearing another style with a vibram sole but once I seen this style with a different sole I thought it would be better for walking on concrete and asphalt a smooth surface at work all day... has a soft sole.
