I don ’ t buy ASICS anymore. They are not of the quality I have experienced in past years. I have 2 pairs of water shoes from KEEN and they have traveled with me to far places and have worn for years. My new KEENS did not disappoint. I love, love love them. I have never had a pair of shoes so comfortable that I want to wear around the house. Yes, they feel like slippers. But these shoes are totally supportive--- and a nice all- around easy trail/walking shoe. They run true to size. I have a narrow heel and need a roomy toe bed; these shoes accommodate both. My heel does n't lift out of them, and my big toes are n't cramped.

[ Per reviews I sized up half size. When the 6. 5 shoes arrived I thought no way would the toe box work for my wide foot. To my surprise the arch is perfect, the 6. 5 shoe is not too long for size 6 foot with cushioned Thorlo socks and the toe box works! Maybe the fabric across the widest part of shoe provides a little stretch.

[ I 'm buying a few more of these because I have carried one for years. Super handy, works great for a wide variety of things. While I absolutely do n't recommend doing this, I have cleaned and gutted a large deer with this blade because somehow I did n't have any other blade whether through losing them or forgetting them in my truck. It worked and I carried it for another year before I lost it. But do n't be like me and do that. It took forever.

I use Keen ’s when I will be on my feet all day, and for all my daily activities. Great for walking on trails and slippery surfaces!

When I took them out of the box, I thought that they looked liked they were made of plastic. If they are made of leather the quality seemed very low. Most of the plastic quality made them very stiff. I tried walking around the house in them to see if they would soften up but the sides rubbed against my ankles. I didn ’ t think that would improve so I packed them up and returned them.
