She wore these while riding her bike to going to her hip- hop dance class and not once felt uncomfortable. As all kids her age they wish it could light up but she does n't worry about that once they are on. I noticed that she is not complaining about her feet hurting like she does with other pairs that she owns. They are little big on her but with thicker socks that covers the space left and she will grow well into the shoe. The leather and materials feel like that will last a long time and will be easy to clean.

These have easily become her favorite shoes to use and she has even asked for them in more colors! The only complaint my daughter had was the heel slippage.
