Wow. These are awesome. I ran my last half marathon in the Pegasus trail, and I was less than impressed. I went to the Wildhorse but felt those needed more cushioning. When I started doing road races in the vaporfly, I was really hoping that Nike would do some sort of vaporfly hybrid shoe for trails and I feel like this is it! I took it right out of the box on a 7 mile adventure, with about 2k feet of vert in the first 2 miles and then a downhill 3 mile run on a fire road, before hitting 2 miles on pavement. They performed superb. They are ultralite( 6. 5oz in my size) and have a super wide toebox, which is unlike most Nike products. This means that you ’ re not gon na get any pressure on your toenails and they ’ re not hitting up against the front of the shoe. They ’ re super breathable and the carbon fiber plate definitely gives you a little propel forward. I ’ m so excited that Nike finally got a contract with Vibram because the soles are incredibly grippy. I don ’ t know how this shoe would do on super technical terrain, considering it is a race shoe, so it ’s meant to be fast and agile. But I don ’ t know if it would protect you from kicking a rock or hitting a rock with anything near your ankle. You ’ re definitely gon na feel that. I ’ m all in for taking this on my next race and super excited to see how I perform in this shoe. I love that there ’s no break in time with Nike ever and I ’ m really happy to see that they have stepped it up with their trail running shoes. We needed this!

I wear them 3–4 times a week in my home gym and they ’ ve held up really well. They ’ re super cushiony and comfortable to run in, especially on the treadmill. The material of the upper has a clean, breathable, almost knit- like texture that not only looks sharp but feels great too. It feels like a shoe that ’s just as appropriate for a casual day out as it is for a workout. I got a few compliments the first time I wore them, which is always a good sign! That said, I did notice a couple of small things. While the StealthFit sock top felt great overall, it sometimes made my foot feel like it was slipping just a bit inside the shoe, especially on longer runs. It wasn ’ t a dealbreaker, but something I had to adjust to. And while I usually love cushioned shoes, the sole of the Glycerin was almost too soft for me. I ’ m used to running in the Brooks Adrenaline GTS, which has a firmer, more supportive feel, so this felt more spongy than what I ’ m used to. [ I have been a fan of Brooks for years but this was my first time trying the Glycerin StealthFit 22, and I am so glad that I did! The Glycerin StealthFit 22 is now my immediate go to for my daily exercise routine that includes indoor and outdoor training( walking, weight lifting and running). The fit of the shoe took me about a day to get adjusted, but was very comfortable from the beginning. I log about 15- 20 miles a week and have used the shoe for about 2 months, and it still provides plenty of support and comfort. I appreciate how easy it is to put on the shoe with the elastic around the ankle and how thick the soles are. The shoe is also made out of a very breathable fabric so my feet never feel overly warm. Overall, the Glycerin StealthFit 22 is a great all around training shoe that will accommodate any of my exercise training needs and desires.

I was looking for a new shoe for my fitness walks. I ’ m a quite speedy walker( 4+ mph) and needed something to support my heel and arches. I tried lululemon and Hokas and both made my arches hurt immediately, I couldn ’ t finish my walk. I tried the Brooks Glycerin GTS and they were amazing. I had one of my fastest walks ever!! I ’ m glad I got the extra supper because my arches hurt a little as I was warming up, but the shoe supported me well and I was able to do my entire walk. The heel is also supportive without being too squishy. I don ’ t notice feeling super hot in them, but I haven ’ t worn them in the summer yet. While I ’ d love to wear these everyday, I ’ m reserving them just for exercise, so they don ’ t wear out too quickly. I ’ m normally a size 7. 5 in sneakers and I got a 7. 5 in Brooks.

I 'm a nurse with rheumatoid arthritis and degenerative discs in my lower back that deals with chronic lower leg and back pain. These shoes have changed the game for me! In addition to compression socks, I 'm able to accomplish more and work longer. It was recommended that I try the Hokas gaviota but it over corrected my arch and caused additional pain. Alphafly 2 has been my only running shoe, so I ’ m sorry to see it appears to be on the way out. I hope the 3 is just as good. I love the booty fit without the need to deal with a loose tongue. Grab the loops at the top and back to slip on more easily. The laces did dig into the top of my feet, but problem solved with a Lydiard- style lacing( see photo).

Never ever had a problem with the alpha fly. I ’ ve worn them for the last 3 years or so and love them. I have a really bad knee but I honestly don ’ t suffer with it when wearing the alpha flys because of the cushion acts as a shock absorber. Love them and all the colours
