I picked these up at the Bellevue, WA store. I was surprised by the price compared to others I 'd seen online. But I picked up a pair and I 'm glad I did. After I unboxed these I found the quality was very high. The clips that come with this are very heavy duty and high quality. When I went back to Amazon and looked up anything approaching the quality of these dumbbell bars it was more expensive there when I added in two sets of very high quality clips. These weigh in at 9. 9 lbs( probably 10 on a better scale).

Work hours not compatible with gym memberships and ETHOS Rubber Hex Dumbbells were perfect compliment for home workout regimen. These are well constructed, tough, and versatile for both upper and Lower body workouts. Definitely not the cheapest solution, but well worth the extra$. I purchased 2 of the 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 lb weights and may eventually need add some higher weights. I wanted a set of high quality dumbbells for my home gym and I am not very price conscious as I plan to use these dumbbells for decades. I have never used hex dumbbells before but the Weider hex dumbbells are fantastic. They have high quality construction and grips, they have a nice and stable width for when you bring them together during exercises like dumbbell bench press, they look good even in nicer gyms, they don ’ t roll on the floor because of the hex shape, the rubber holds up, and the dumbbells don ’ t mark up my wood floor so long as I don ’ t drop them aggressively on the floor. What ’s not to like?? Highly recommend for anyone irrespective of price point.

I noticed an odor with the RPU coating on these dumbbells when they arrived. However, they appear very sturdy and the smell dissipated after a while. There are grooves in the handgrip portion of the dumbbells to help with securing a hold on them.
