This bagpack is fantastic for keeping your items cold/hot. Everything on the pack is high quality. It's very spacious and when you 're carrying the pack, the weight feels evenly distributed. I took it on an 8 mile hike and the only issue I had was the straps chaffed against my skin. I hike in tank tops so that was a bit of an issue for the bare skin in contact with the straps. The heavier the bag is, the more you 'll feel the chaffing. I have other bags that do n't do this. Other than this minor detail, the bag is fantastic.

Definitely happy we picked this out. We wanted a cooler that did not look like I was dragging around scuba gear or dry bags. Our first camping trip this spring for 5 days. The label says 6 days. Temps were high in low 70's, lows in the 40's. And we came home with ice. Great job. I froze about 15 pounds of meat in ziplocks, and placed in plastic cereal boxed shaped containers. and put two gallons of frozen ice jugs. With about 24 cans and condiments. We came home with a golf ball sized ice cube in the gallon jugs, and cold meat! One more gallon of ice and it would have made 6 days, no doubt. This is the best way to not have a cooler full of melted ice and your food swimming???

[ I feel like most of the cooler options out there are the big tote bags with the long zipper that are super awkward to carry. This tote is the perfect size as it has the square opening, is n't too big so you pack it too full and it's super heavy. I am loving this larger size! I have been using the cream julienne mini( mostly for lunch) but had to get the max size when it came out. Mini is great for lunch but Max is going to be my go- to boat day bag for snacks and bevs. Also a great bag to take to the grocery store or farmer ’s market!
