The Velcro is good because it doesn ’ t put any limitations on how tight or loose you make the belt. The back support is sufficient and extends high enough. I have been wearing these belts for 30 years due to a back injury and without it I can not lift a bag of 5 pounds potatoes. it still hurt and strain a lot but not as much when I have it on.
