These suckers are spot on; waist, length, material... the term 'go to' seems to be overused these days, however it fits these to the 'T'. I 'm 5'10, 165 lbs, lean and the 33 inch waist has ample room. The length is exactly what I have been looking for, not too long and not Bob Weir short... perfect pool side, with a T, with a polo, even with a button down. I travel quit a bit and wanted a pair of shorts that I could work out in, trail run, swim in, etc. Also wanted something that would dry quickly. These are great for that. I generally wear a shorter inseam specifically or trail running, but this inseam was a more modest and `` everyday comfortable '' approach. Got the shorts with the AirShell Hoody and together they 're a great combo. Would recommend as a all purpose trail short.
