This is brilliant, it is thin but brilliant layered up and seems to keep the cold out. My son wo n't wear a thick heavy jacket, so with this I got a bigger size for him so he can layer up with fleeces or hoodies. So perfect. Looks cool on and he is happy and seems quite hard wearing. Also lovely colour I got the blue as black was out of stock but happy with the blue.

Absolutely killer jacket. Bought it to use for teaching a backpacking class in the late fall in high mountains of Idaho where it can get pretty cold pretty quick. Used it in- 10f weather with a baselayer underneath and shell on top and stayed toasty the whole time. Provides an honestly impressive amount of wind resistance even on the seams. A lot of people claim durability issues but I 've used it climbing, backpacking, and bikepacking for about two years now and it's done amazingly. Well done Mountain Hardwear!

[ We have been dealing with frigid temperatures, freezing rain, and snow this year. The cold does n't get through this jacket- it's incredible. It's great because you can scrunch it up and throw it in a bag. I highly recommend!
