The instructions state that you should wet the towel, wring it out, and then `` snap '' it( like you might with a beach or bath towel). The towel immediately feels cool and stays cool for up to 3 hours! The towel is small enough and shaped similar to a neck scarf to be easy to carry while jogging or other activities, or even can fit in your pocket. Since it's machine washable, this towel can be reused over and over again. It even provides UPF 50 sun protection and is antimicrobial for odor control!

These towels are lightweight, absorb lots of water, and dry quickly. I bought the small size to wash up with in the morning, and if left in the sun it will be dry by the time you finish packing up. Also good for dealing with condensation on the inside of a tent.

This product packs super small, which is nice, even though it was the largest towel of its kind. It dried super- fast- could hang it in the Jeep with windows closed and it dried super- fast. It was large enough for a 6'4 '' man( who is pretty lean), and in a normal camping environment with a light breeze, it seemed to be dry in an hour. This product will definitely replace my MSR camp towel, which is way bulkier but yet has a smaller footprint. The fabric is weird and takes a bit of getting used to. It is so light that it feels like it's going to tear, but it's sturdy enough. I almost like the pocket towel fabric better, but like the lightness of the airlight. It's certainly a trade- off.
