We used an electric tea kettle for the hot water and to form it takes a little bit to get correct. Makes sure its centered in your mouth or it wont feel right but once its done boy is it worth it. You can actually talk with this mouth guard in verses the other ones.

I have had two of these now, and they work as a substitute for a an expensive night guard from the dentist. I even showed it to my dentist and She was impressed by it. When you ’ re fitting it, make sure not to suck onto it too tightly because it does seem to shrink a tiny bit after it cools.

Ironic that Dick's asked me to review this today since today was its first real test. I 've been using it for a few weeks for Jiu Jitsu and it does make breathing easier. It feels so light that I 've been nervous about the durability. Today I caught a knee right in the center of my mouth.
