After having Achilles surgery I had to find some compression socks to help reduce swelling. These definitely do the trick. The only complaint I have is the right sock of one of the pairs I have seems like a large and not an extra large. I have four pair so I have something to compare them too. On the other hand, my foot could just be a little more swollen at the moment. No I 'm pretty sure something is up, because it's not as long as the others. I 'm 6' 4 and the XL comes right under my knee with a little extra. The one in question reaches slightly under my knee with no extra. So as long as you do n't have that issue you will love these compression socks.
