I bought this to use for hikes in the fall& early winter. It's primary use is as an outerwear shirt or even a replacement for a light jacket. I 've only had it for one trial run, but it has performed admirably. When paired with a good base layer it has kept me comfortable from the low 30's to mid 40's F. My first impression was the wool was very itchy on bare skin. It's a a far cry from a quality merino base layer, but while carrying a light pack and coupled with a good base I never noticed the shirt. Seems like a nice shirt with enough room to make it very versatile.

The first Fjallraven product I ever bought was the Canada shirt in the classic true to Canada red black plaid colour. I am 5 ’ 11 ’ and 215lbs. I bought this shirt in XL. Cons: the shirt is a little long in length for me but I don ’ t know if this shirt was ever made in a long or reg version. The label displays “ XL, comfort fit ” I was between the L and XL so I chose the XL for layering. Pros: Tough wool shirt! Comfortable! Warm! Colours never faded! Shirt never shrunk in the wash! Sleeves are long enough not to ride up. I always worry about snaps failing on garmets but the snaps on my shirt have yet to fail! Well done Fjallraven! I have used this shirt for years now for cutting wood, camping, ice fishing and general wear. I have no regrets on this purchase. I would definitely buy it again and that says a lot since I barely ever wear button up type shirts as I prefer pull over types with zip collars.

In other words, I live in South Florida where it rarely gets chilly, but this is a great material for a cool morning walk or if you like keeping the AC low indoors! I am typically a size 18 on top and the XXL fits just right, so I would say this runs on the smaller side if you 're looking for a looser fit. The gray color is mild and matches well with various colors. All around, a great top that you can wear to lounge or for an activity.

[ I love my Nike Therma fit one top. It ’s sleek and sporty and super comfy. The fabric has tons of stretch for comfort and ease during a workout, but is a good thickness( not as thick as a fleece and not as thin as leggings) and matte and therefore very flattering. I had it on during one of those Fall days where you think “ it ’s probably 65 out ” but it ’s really 50 degrees. And I was plenty warm. I like the length of the top- it sits just below the hip. I am 5 ’ 7 ” and a size 8 in clothes and the medium is perfect with a tank top underneath. I love the soft gray color and subtle swoosh on the side( I usually don ’ t go for big logos!). The collar sits nicely upright with it unzipped. Only thing I noticed that I didn ’ t love is the small neck hole. If you have makeup on and a ponytail( and a big head like I do!) it ’s a snug squeeze and you ’ ll either smudge makeup on the inside of the shirt or you ’ ll mess up your hair if you don ’ t carefully pull it on. Otherwise- it ’s an awesome sleek top.

Really flattering and form- fitting and the full- zip is super useful to not only take on and off, but also lower if you get a little stuffy. It has a pleasant amount of stretch and the Dri- Fit does a great job of wicking sweat and being breathable without getting drenched in sweat. The collar is the perfect height and the pockets are useful as well. I LOVE the Calia Women ’s Cold Dash 1/4 Zip. I got the black in the medium size. I normally wear a small but the description said it is fitted, which it is, and I didn ’ t want a tight fit. This fits me exactly the way I want it too. It is nicely tailored but not skin tight. I am 5 ’ 6 ” and about 128 pounds. Previously, my favorite athletic 1/4 zip jacket was a black one with a back pocket that holds my phone. I had looked everywhere, unsuccessfully, for another until now. This jacket has a very nicely placed pocket in the back that holds my phone very comfortably during my daily morning 2 to 3 mile walks.
