I 've had many UA cage jackets, but this is by far, the best! Adding the hood is a great idea, but I 've always longed for pockets; Bam! Pockets! Every cage jackets, short of long sleeved, needs pockets! The only thing that has me a little confused is the option to cut off the long sleeves; cover to short sleeve. I like the idea, but I 'm not about to cut up a high quality jacket. Why not just add zippers to the sleeves so that they need taken off/on as one pleases? It's make more sense and functional.

Lots to love about the Keb Fleece. The material composition being a wool blend is slightly warmer than you 're expecting it to be with how thin it is which makes for a sleek and comfortable jacket to move in. The 2 - way zipper can be a slight bit of fuss to hitch together but I find it's worth it for that extra utility. I love how Fjallraven implements 2 - way zips on so many of their jackets as it really makes the jacket drape nicer when you sit down and can unzip the bottom a bit.( does n't do that awkward bunching up thing) I originally owned the hoodie version but found the hood a bit too small/tight to wear on my head and it bunched up the beard uncomfortably. When I saw they made a hood - less version this season, I was really interested. After taking it out on trek, can confirm it's great as always but I will say I 'm a bit dismayed at the removal of the chest pocket as that was another favorite feature of mine on the original model. Glad to be rid of the hood but sad the chest pocket has gone along with it.

You can wear in in the 50 ’s unzipped without getting too hot, and I ’ ve worn it in mid 30 ’s drizzle comfortably. Any cooler than 30 degrees and you ’ d probably want to throw on a fleece underneath. The Sherpa is a very nice touch, and I love the hood. This coat is more comfortable than my previous coat, time will tell if it also lasts me 20 years.

I love that it's made of 75% recycled material and is also waterproof. Cool! My favorites about this coat are in the details though!! The sleeves have elastic so you can pull them up your arms and they stay. The zipper pulls all have a little extender on them for convenient use and there is an elastic hook to hang the coat by. Probably my favorite detail is the design of the hood pulls. You can pull your hood tight and lock it into place with a stopper. But even more awesome, the stopper is on a loop with a little blocking washer so your strings wo n't get lost in the holes of the hood during wear or washing. Amazing design!!! The only thing I would mention here is that I am a woman and this is a mens coat so the design is very straight; no room for hips at all - so I would suggest getting a womens style coat if you are at all curvy. For me I just tuck it under. Also for a men's small to fit me perfect makes me think it may run a bit small( as I think most Nike items do). Overall, highly recommend.
