I 've had many UA cage jackets, but this is by far, the best! Adding the hood is a great idea, but I 've always longed for pockets; Bam! Pockets! Every cage jackets, short of long sleeved, needs pockets! The only thing that has me a little confused is the option to cut off the long sleeves; cover to short sleeve. I like the idea, but I 'm not about to cut up a high quality jacket. Why not just add zippers to the sleeves so that they need taken off/on as one pleases? It's make more sense and functional.

This jacket is an addition to the three other various Carhartts that I have hanging in my coat closet. I was needing something on the lighter side this time for doing some e - bike trail riding around metro Detroit and also something to match the camo paint scheme on my fat tire. This jacket's Moss color turned out being about as close to U. S. Army `` mean green '' as you could hope to get and I also really like the high zip neck and velcro adjustable sleeves. The fit was perfect too, as always. Since I have the sincere `` need for speed '', I was also duly impressed with how warm it was against the Spring windchill temps. I paired this jacket up also with some Carhartt fingerless gloves which is another story but the combo has worked out exceedingly well for riding. After all the accolades though, what stands out the most about this brand to me is that it was born in the City of Detroit for the tough, honest, hardworking man and wearing it, to quote Doc Holiday, kind of reminds me of me.

My first in dark olive is about 5 years old stood up well through outdoors work and chores got a bit bobbled but I gave it a shave not long ago and it looks as good as new. [ Material feels great and the jacket definitely wicks away the rain. Love the zipper can be unzipped in either direction, making it easier on a rainy day to jump in the car and not have to worry about taking the jacket off in order to be comfortable.

[ Jacket is lightweight, has enough room to layer, and easy to pack. I noticed some reviews didn ’ t love the cord to cinch the waist, but I didn ’ t share in those sentiments. Cord was easy to draw in, and to make sure it didn ’ t get caught in the zipper or velcro, i just tied it in a short loop to tuck into the jacket - easy!

I just received this jacket today and I 'm super happy with it after only trying it on! I 'm 5'11 '', about 165 - 170, athletic build and the large fits perfectly! I have a little extra length in the arms, which I love because it is a rarity. I feel like I have just enough room that I could wear a crewneck underneath without problem, but it's not bulky without layers. And it's long enough that it covers my bottom! I 'm usually between a medium and a large and I would not size down for a medium in this jacket.

[ I bought this in black for my trip to Iceland and it was great! It was comfortable as a windbreaker and as a waterproof jacket. It ’s stylish and durable. Being 5 ft tall, I often get smalls but I went with a medium( even though the website recommended a large 🤨) so I could put other layers underneath it and it worked out because I could roll the sleeves up just fine. The hood is still big but I had another shirt with a hood underneath.

It's a very nice jacket, I have it in all colors and find it very practical. External pockets are nice and roomy. Some minor cons, inside pocket is not deep enough, zipper on the top pocket is useless

The design features on this adorable jacket are SO GOOD! I ski in it and I love all the things - the hood fits perfectly over my helmet and stays up, the collar is fleece lined - soft and warm, love the sleeve cuffs to keep snow out, the phone holder in the pocket and goggle cloth! This jacket has hands down gotten more compliments than any other jacket I 've ever owned I still receive compliments almost daily. I love the fit and look off this jacket and it was warm enough to wear all winter in northern Minnesota. My only complaint is that coffee color is being discontinued so I purchased anther, several people I know have gotten this jacket after seeing me wear it.
