I bought these to use with my road bike, which has a cushioned but very narrow seat. If I go for a ride longer than 45 minutes, I usually am sore along my pubic bone. These shorts helped a lot with my 2 hour bike ride this weekend—no discomfort at all! I was also pleased with the fit. I ’ m 5 ’ 6 ”, 160lbs with most of the weight carried in my thighs, so I often have trouble finding shorts that don ’ t squeeze too much and don ’ t ride up. These were long enough that they grabbed my thigh at the narrowest part by the knee, and didn ’ t ride up because of the nonslip band around the leg opening. These have a mid rise, which is not what I normally go for because I ’ m afraid they will fall down, but these stayed put! I got a size M for reference.

[ These shorts fit like a dream! Not like a sausage casing or an over sized bag. I find them true to size.( I 'm a size small at 124 lbs and 5' 6'). The leg grippers stay put no mater how sweaty you get. The padding is light, which is expected, but so comfortable and wicks the sweat away. It's also actually cut for a woman's body and does n't feel like someone trimmed down the men's and called it a day. The waist comes up a bit higher but not too high and stays put. I also sweat ALOT when I am biking and these shorts literally breathe like skin and do not lock in the moisture. If you can find these beauties, you really need to buy a pair.

[ Everyone has a unique requirement for bike shorts. My requirement is that they are longish, have a high rise, do n't roll over at the waist, have a firm chamois, and be overall comfortable. These shorts tick off all my requirements. They are long and do not ride up, The waist sits at my waist so I am never trying to pull the up. The waist band are especially designed to not roll over. The chamois is just the correct firmness to provide cushioning yet not bottom out over bumps. Nothing else to say.
