I 've used a number of golf balls in my golfing career usually opting for the cheaper ones. I 'm a high single digit index and that has worked for me for quite a while. I decided to try these as they are a step up from what I normally use not expecting much difference. I was surprised. I like the soft feel and I do n't feel like I 've lost any distance( over the Velocity's). The added benefit is that I 'm getting more spin now. Of course that means I have to learn how to control and use that spin.

I 've been using the Supersoft Matte finish golf balls off and on for the past couple years. Here are the conditions I find these balls work best in from my experience. I 'm a high handicap golfer( 28) and live in Southern California where I can golf all year long. This ball works great for me in warm/hot and dry conditions at 60 degrees and higher. In fact, the hotter the better. The ball carries best for me under these conditions and travels more accurately when putting on the green. However, in cooler and damp conditions the ball se ms to die on drives and on the green. Overall experience: Under the right conditions, this golf ball performed best for me. My drives are straight and longer with this ball. The matte cover has a great feel, particularly on the green. Pitching and chipping is more accurate and the ball seems to stick on the green better than other balls and not run off like other balls tend to do for me. I like the color( green) which helps it stand out better than other girls lf balls that land in the taller grass. The price is right for me. I live in he way the ball feels while putting it in the green. The ball seems to launch off the club face. I would recommend this golf ball for anyone who's looking for a golf ball that has a soft feel and would like a little more distance on drives and more accuracy putting on the green.

I have been playing this particular ball for two years now. I was reading a comment about the ball having alignment aids, as I was re- ordering a box or two. I am, also “ old school ” too. But, I happen to like the alignment aids. If you have anything, but a crooked eye, the alignment aids, are definitely helpful. Especially when you have their Odyssey “ five star ” putter, the Tri Hot 5k Seven, Stroke- Lab Shaft, D/B 35 ” length. It ’s like a laser to the cup!! For myself, over the past 2 plus years, between the Tri Hot 5K Seven putter and E- R- C Soft ball, I have all- but eliminated any 3 putts. The ball has a phenomenal feel on the greens. I do not have a problem saying that I do bounce between 12- 14 Handicap. I have also, been playing this game for exactly 50 years, and a few months. The “ few months ” would be the guess part. But the E- R- C soft golf ball, is extremely great off the Tee. Just a solid feel off the driver. Very straight and good run- out with the ball. When it comes to the “ up and down “ or even the 125- 150 yard shot, it sticks well on the green. I just decided to put in another review as I was reading the other. I think the ball should come both ways. In fact, I believe it does if you go on their site, but I could be very wrong. But, the alignment tracks. If you think Maxfli is a second or third tier brand( like it was many years ago), think again. Look at the data from MyGolfSpy. I 've converted more than a few of my country club brand conscious friends to this ball..... and the new version is even better. I 'm getting the same performance in distance and spin on the green; the ball has a softer feel off of the putter face. I love this ball!

I recently purchased a box just to try. I found this ball to be just as long off the tee as the TaylorMade TP5 that I typically play. I also found more fairways. I typically miss about half the fairways over the course of a round, but I only missed 1 with this ball. The usual bigger than wanted draw plagues me, but with this ball it was a gentle 10- 15 yard draw instead of the typical 30- 40 yard draw I encounter. My irons felt crisp and I got the expected distance. The ball flight matched my typical flight when playing the TP5. I did n't see the amount of spin I am used to off the approach shots, but it was enough to stop the ball. I did n't see the spin that would back the ball up, but it would hop and stop from 160 yards and in to about 70. From 70 and in I would like to ha e a bit more spin, but the spin I got on these was adequate. It was comfortable to chip and pitch around the greens, but Putting felt great and the ball rolled true. All in all, I am looking forward to more golf with these. As a mid handicap golfer who struggles with consistency, I found that in this ball it seems. In the 1 round I 've played with this ball so far I shot 10 strokes under my handicap! Finding more fairways certainly aided in that.

Chrome Tour performs extremely well for all aspects of my game. Its long off the tee and long irons, with plenty of spin greenside to be able to play more aggressively. All this while maintaining a relatively soft feel( not as soft as Chrome Soft, but still soft). I 've spent a lot of time testing this ball against many others and I keep coming back to the Chrome Tour. Also a huge fan of TruTrack. Very clear visuals when putting, but especially love it greenside where you can really see the spin.

Firstly I love the TP5. I am a high launch/high spin player. The X just flew too high for me into the wind. I find that I get a bit lower launch with the TP5 and is easier for me to control the spin with. Durability is also pretty darn good for a tour ball( barring cart path, rocks, or trees- you could play the same ball a second round). I love the stripe! It helps me with putting AND lining up on tee shots. I only wish they offered the colors for the stripe like they do on the Response. But for those color averse- the blackish grey of this stripe isn ’ t distracting and very useful.

Been using the Crome Soft for awhile, really like them. When Callaway introduced the Chrome Tour wanted to try them. Nice ball. Good distance, good flight. My only issue is around the green. Had decent stopping power on approach shots, but had a little firmer feel when I was putting. Overall, good ball would rather play these than Pro V's.
