At 78 my swing speed that was never good has even got slower. The ball felt great coming off the driver and flew fairly straight and as long as I. could expect. I ’ ve tried callaway super soft and snell get sum and I ’ m sticking with soft feel. At 18 handicap spin on the green is not likely. Srixon did ok on approach and putting. Stop using found balls and make a small investment in balls designed for your individual game.

I enjoyed the flight off of the driver, I need to measure to see the improvement but it looks like there is a distance improvement. The ball flight from the irons was great and the action on the green acted the manner in which I wanted it to. I read a lot of reviews about this 2026 version. I am a senior trying to reclaim some lost distance. I found one reviewer, youtube, who found 5mph increase in ball speed over the previous version with his driver. So I field tested it during a round against the new 2026 AVX. The 2026 chrome soft, for me, was consistently at least 10- 15 yards longer than the AVX. Sort of fits with that 5mph increase review. I am happy.
