I decided to try these as they are a step up from what I normally use not expecting much difference. I was surprised. I have been playing this particular ball for two years now. I was reading a comment about the ball having alignment aids, as I was re- ordering a box or two. I am, also “ old school ” too. But, I happen to like the alignment aids. If you have anything, but a crooked eye, the alignment aids, are definitely helpful. Especially when you have their Odyssey “ five star ” putter, the Tri Hot 5k Seven, Stroke- Lab Shaft, D/B 35 ” length. It ’s like a laser to the cup!! For myself, over the past 2 plus years, between the Tri Hot 5K Seven putter and E- R- C Soft ball, I have all- but eliminated any 3 putts. The ball has a phenomenal feel on the greens. I do not have a problem saying that I do bounce between 12- 14 Handicap. I have also, been playing this game for exactly 50 years, and a few months. The “ few months ” would be the guess part. But the E- R- C soft golf ball, is extremely great off the Tee. Just a solid feel off the driver. Very straight and good run- out with the ball. When it comes to the “ up and down “ or even the 125- 150 yard shot, it sticks well on the green. I just decided to put in another review as I was reading the other. I think the ball should come both ways. In fact, I believe it does if you go on their site, but I could be very wrong. But, the alignment tracks. I really don ’ t see much difference from that and then the actual name of any ball as using it as a alignment to the cup…. Somebody just got the idea to improve on the idea.

Firstly I love the TP5. I am a high launch/high spin player. The X just flew too high for me into the wind. I find that I get a bit lower launch with the TP5 and is easier for me to control the spin with. Durability is also pretty darn good for a tour ball( barring cart path, rocks, or trees- you could play the same ball a second round). I love the stripe! It helps me with putting AND lining up on tee shots. I only wish they offered the colors for the stripe like they do on the Response. But for those color averse- the blackish grey of this stripe isn ’ t distracting and very useful.

I ’ m a decent play( 10hdcp) and can genuinely say the spin and feel of these balls have drastically improved my short game. I also feel I ’ m able to do things with the ball that I just wasn ’ t with a lower priced ball. Overall 10/10

Just played my 2nd full round with these balls after having played the standard Tour since 2021. The feel is very similar to the Tour, though it definitely feels softer off the putter. For me it performed amazingly. I have had trouble controlling shots into the wind in the past and switching to the Tour S definitely helped me keep the ball lower and not balloon so much. I love the Alignment as well, its very similar to the Callaway Triple Track, but I do like the black lines. Another plus about the Maxfli balls is they are easy to find, both in the stores and on the course. Every dicks and golf galaxy I visit always has them in stock, and many golfers do n't think to try them so usually when I find a Maxfli on course I know its mine. Very good, very underrated balls

These are incredible! They are TP5s so they are automatically amazing! But now they have a tracker that my Sim picks up beautifully! I have always had to get pro VI RCT, so it ’s nice that Taylor made has this option now. I think it ’s a much better ball and I am seeing consistent results in the sim.
