[ My first trip with my new Tungsten 1 Person tent was to Big Bend Ranch State Park last November. Temps ranged from lower 80 ’s during the day to lower 40 ’s at night. The tent weighed almost half what my previous one did. I was really happy about that. It also sets up in only a couple of minutes even when using the rain fly. On warmer nights the Tungsten was perfect without the fly. Great views of a star filled sky that way as well. On the coolest nights I was super comfortable with the fly on to help retain some heat. I was pleasantly surprised to find the air circulation was good enough to almost prevent all condensation from building up inside the fly. I am 6 ’ 2 ” and there was plenty of room for me and my long sleeping bag plus all of the gear that makes me happy to have close at hand. Don ’ t misunderstand though; it is definitely a one person tent. After those 4 nights I would definitely recommend this tent. It has all of the quality you would expect from a premium brand like Marmot. Get one for yourself without fear of disappointment.

I ’ m a mountain guide currently sitting in the rain in this tent right now. I ’ ve lived in it all summer long, and I must say, it ’s done a great job. The fly keeps me nice and dry and the weight keeps me happy on the uphill. Never thought I would be a 1p tent kind of gal, but this tent changed my mind! Great option if you ’ re looking for a home base to work from if you work outside. Highly recommend.

I 've used this tent about 9 times so far and have loved it! Kept me dry in the rain a few times, and feels spacious for a 2- person tent. The colors are super fun and I love the attachments for the rain fly- the buckles make it super easy to take on& off. I 'm 5, 9 '' and love that there's enough space by my feet for a few items or small pack. It's been my go- to since I got it in the spring!

[ I have an older version of this tent, but was recently camping and reminded again of how amazing it is. I left the rain fly tucked open and it rained while I was away and when I came back everything was dry. I have had a version of this tent for over 12 years. I will buy only this tent. I am consistently left completely dry when others are complaining of some leak or puddle in their tent. Even if my bag or something is left pushed up against the tent wall. Which often happens as I camp with small children. This has been our go to family tent and it has never failed us. I have also back packed with it. Great tent, highly recommend.

When choosing a tent for camping, consider factors such as size, weight, and weather resistance. Look for features like a waterproof rainfly, durable materials, and adequate ventilation to ensure comfort. Additionally, think about the ease of setup and whether the tent has enough storage options for your gear.
To determine the right tent size, consider the number of people who will be using it and the amount of gear you plan to store inside. Tents are typically rated for a specific number of occupants, but it's wise to choose a size that allows for extra space for comfort and gear. If you're camping with larger groups or need additional storage, consider a tent with a larger capacity.
Tents are often made from materials like nylon or polyester, which offer a good balance of weight and durability. The waterproofing treatment and denier rating can also impact performance, with higher denier fabrics generally being more durable. Additionally, the type of poles used, such as aluminum or fiberglass, can affect the tent's stability and weight.
The best season for using a camping tent typically depends on the type of camping experience you desire. Spring and summer are popular for family camping trips due to milder weather, while fall can offer beautiful scenery and cooler temperatures. Winter camping requires specialized tents designed for snow and cold weather, so it's important to choose a tent that suits the season and conditions.
To ensure your tent is durable and long-lasting, invest in high-quality materials and construction. Regular maintenance, such as cleaning and proper storage, can also extend its lifespan. Additionally, using a footprint can protect the tent floor from abrasions and moisture, further enhancing its durability.
