Okay I definitely struck gold when I chose these Nikes for my next run the way they hug your feet is simply perfect design they are so lightweight I have nothing on when wearing them. Minor slippage on my right foot as it ’s slightly smaller than my left foot. Toe cap is not your average Nike narrow one. purchased from nike, not Dicks. But i have seen a lot of non- typical reviews that may dissuade someone from giving these shoes a chance. I have over 300 damage- free miles on these shoes and i am just now looking at getting a replacement pair. not due to damage, but just due to the zoomX foam losing its `` springiness '' which is typical for it over time. I started wearing these shoes coming from wearing nike free's for years and just wanted to give something else a try that is lightweight and without a carbon fiber plate. These shoes will not `` destroy '' your ankles if you are already adept to wearing a minimalist- style shoe. These are not true minimalist, but they are very lightweight, lighter than my minimalist shoes, and have a very low heel- toe drop. Both of these specs can compete with minimalist shoes. Coming from wearing minimalist shoes, my ankles, feet, and lower legs are strengthened to adapt to the less cushioning and stability. If you transition to these shoes straight from wearing `` traditional '' trainers, there will be an adjustment period and you may decide its not for you. That is not a knock on the shoe, but more of a characteristic of this style of shoe. I transitioned to these shoes pretty seamlessly from my Nike frees. Streakfly's are the lightest shoe Nike makes, and extremely flexible. Like wearing socks. This is what i look for in a shoe, and something to consider for anyone looking at giving these a try. It is a very fast shoe, but it will lose its responsiveness over time due to the exposed ZoomX foam. They can still be used when this happens though. I am not happy that Nike decided to add a carbon fiber plate to the new Streakfly's, although Nike did make the shoe even lighter. I uses these shoes as a daily trainer and do not want to run with a carbon fiber plate every time, this can cause injury. i am currently looking for deals on these shoes from other sellers because they are not for sale through Nike anymore and i want to pick up another pair before they are completely gone. Bottom line, if you are someone that is already used to wearing a lightweight, flexible shoe, with low drop, you should really give this shoe a try. If not, there will be a transition period before you can wear this shoe all the time. When i transitioned to minimalist, i went through several shoes of gradually decreasing weight and drop in order to let my body strengthen and acclimate.

From what I 've been told, it is recommended that you take a stroll in new running shoes to warm them up and stretch them out a bit. However, I took these shoes on a run fresh out of the box and it felt great. This is not normal for me by the way. The Invincible 3 Zoom X foam gives your feet the comfort as if you ’ re walking on CLOUDS. I do16 hr shifts at the hospital& with these shoes my feet, knees, and thighs literally feel like they have a bounce with each step with minimum stress on your legs. Alphafly 2 has been my only running shoe, so I ’ m sorry to see it appears to be on the way out. I hope the 3 is just as good. I love the booty fit without the need to deal with a loose tongue. Grab the loops at the top and back to slip on more easily. The laces did dig into the top of my feet, but problem solved with a Lydiard- style lacing( see photo).

I have owned multiple pairs of metcons, been buying them since they first came out, every version from 1- 6, multiple pairs of 1 ’s and 2 ’s, I still train in metcon 2 ’s because I have worn out all of my other pairs. Nike progressively has taken away the features i liked to make them more and more into a crossfit shoe.( Not everyone wants to be the most average athelete on the planet) My favorites are the metcon 2 ’s and 4 ’s. The fit, the toe box and stability when lifting is great, I dont like the new 5+ versions because I dont like squatting and deadlifting with a raised heal or a cushion because i dont like the lack of stability that comes with it. These are very comfortable. It does feel like you are walking on air. There is n't any harsh shock to the foot when moving in these shoes. The toe box on the men's shoe is better fitting than the women's shoe. This is narrower and fits me much better. Nothing rubs at the arch. I recommend these. The waterproof Gore- Tex is great to keep one's socks and feet totally dry. The only thing I do n't like is the looks of the trim they put on the Pegasus 41 around the toe box. Yet, it does n't affect the shoe itself.

Goo pair of she ’s. I am a beginner level runner. In these, I did a 5k and a 10k run so far. They are light and the cushion is better than my peg 39 shield pair. Not tried in the winter rain yet, will see that parth in warmer days. They are warm to feel in the cold weather. The soles are same as my peg 39 shield and storm tread sole is excellent for grip in wet or smooth surfaces, but the price is, it ’s impossible to clean once you got mud in. I had to go straight in garden and rinse it off, use a brush to remove the mud before it sets. I bought them on sale which seems OK price but would not pay full price. Buy at least half a size up, as they run a little small. Nike have never got the sizes right or consistent.

[ I have utilize these shoes now for multiple trips and they are great. I used to slide at the boat ramp when wading in the shallow water, but I have not slipped once in these. I have wide feet and these are comfortable enough I forget to take them off once in my kayak. Can ’ t speak to how long they last, but so far so good.

Got this shoe a few months ago as my daily driver. Works great. Is pretty comfortable and fits my wider feet well. Also feels good running and when lifting. Well worth the money. They did take a little while to break in- the soles started out stiffer than most, but that issue worked itself out in around a week or so of prolonged use.

Great shoe. Been using these instead of Ghost for years now after they became bland and bouncy. The latest iteration runs well with good comfort and stability. My only gripes are the laces come undone quite often and they do run hot, so wear very thin socks.

The first pair of Travis Matthew shoes I bought for my husband were for golf. He loved them so much, I bought him a dressier pair.
