The stitching is perfect, and the combination of breathable fabrics make the shoe sturdy and I know will stand the test of time. The color way worked out excellent as they match his favorite team( Go Raiders!). As far as comfortability, he states they are 9/10, not being his most comfortable pair but very close. They are easy to clean off and the laces are the perfect length. The only complaint he had was the toe box is different than most of his other shoes and he had to get used to the feeling of his toes springing up with each step, but now it doesn ’ t bother him at all.

My overall impression is that they are an excellent all around shoe with great versatility and I highly recommend them to any casual wearer and even avid hiker. The toe box is roomier in width and height than other Nike shoes I own which allows for excellent circulation and comfort. They definitely fit true to size. The soles are both comfortable to stand in during my daily routine, but also offers support for longer walks and runs. The texture on the bottom is extremely grippy and allows for additional traction with the Winfrey days but also rocky paths for hiking. Have used the canoe(s) to fish the upper- James for many years. Wanted something I could throw onto my shoulders to carry, or load onto my SUV individually( when my youngest was 6). We eventually were caught in a hydraulic and the canoe was destroyed, but I bought a replacement a week later. Have done solo river camping trips, but I use a 16 footer with a 2nd person. The seat- backs are a must since I am 6' 5 '', and now my oldest is 275 so the canoe can handle 500+ lbs. Yes the bottom is flat, but we run class 2's, plus drag it over many rocks in the riffles.

I purchased an Old Town Saranac 146 for lake fishing with my daughter. It was a perfect canoe for the two of us, with plenty of room for gear and refreshments. I added a small removable outrigger where I mounted a small electric trolling motor to help hold our position in the lake on windy days. When I fish alone, I use the third seat as my station to keep the canoe flat. I added a comfortable removable swivel seat at that center station for those days when I fish alone. The canoe is light enough for me to single handedly lift up on my SUV roof rack for trips away from home. All in all, this is an excellent vessel, good quality and well made to which I look forward to many years of use.

The saranac 146 is a nice size boat for 2 people and hunting gear. After getting home with it, I found the front cap to be loose from several rivets that had failed. I fixed it by installing bolts and nuts... just wanted it to be acknowledged. The adjustable back rest are really great and useful and the seats are comfortable. The 146 is light enough to be handled with ease by one person.

Well thought out survival design. I typically do n't care for serrations; but on this particular knife they only use up a very small portion of a very large cutting surface. There's still ample regular edge for fine cutting, and the small serrated section for tough, problematic materials; so that was well designed. And of course there's also the sawback feature along the spine, and the hammer pommel. A finger guard was a necessity, and the abbreviated hook at the pommel end helps generate torque when chopping while helping prevent the knife from flying out of the hand while doing so. Very versatile knife; if you found yourself out in the sticks for any considerable length of time, you could still accomplish a great deal with this tool at your disposal.
