He ’s a skinny athletic kid and he ’s always cold, these keep his feet warm and he loves the cushion after firm the firm soles of basketball shoes. [ Bought a half- size small which worked great, a little harder to slip on quickly but they stay on. Good texture on the inserts to keep the foot stable, kind of a rubbery feeling. The inserts come out easy if you need to clean the shoe. They are light but enough padding and support for working in the yard or around town.
