[ This hoodie is great. It is warm but not hot. Super soft, some tech shirts can be itchy but this is not! I wear it all the time and it works great for all kinds of things even casual. I love the thumb holes and how it has two sets so you can cover your hands as needed the sleeves are also perfect for me. Usually sleeves are short as I am 6 ’ but even in the back thumb holes it is not tight. It is very breathable and flexible which keep it from impending motion. I love it and will be using it a lot.

[ This jacket is warm despite how light it is. I don ’ t think it ’ ll hold up once it gets too far below freezing, but I ’ ve been running in around 40 degree Fahrenheit weather and I ’ ve had no problem staying warm. I like the thumb holes in the jacket to help keep my hands warm, even if I eventually will start wearing gloves anyway once it gets colder. Those holes are helpful when it ’s the end of fall/beginning of winter. On top of the functionality, the jacket also looks very sleek and forms to the body well. I ’ ll probably wear this casually every once in awhile as well because it looks that good. Only complaint I have is with the hood. Luckily it ’s fairly light so it ’s not too distracting, but it ’s still a pain to go out for a run with my hood bouncing around. You can tuck the hood with the strap that comes with the jacket, but that ’s still a pain( albeit a small one) to roll up and even then it ’s not a perfect solution. Overall, I highly recommend this jacket! Definitely a keeper for my workout outfit rotation.

[ Brooks made a really nice quality hoodie. The material is a cross between athletic moisture wicking type and a thermal ribbed type. Material is fairly thin, but provides surprising warmth due to thermal ribs. It ’s great for running or outdoor exercise in cooler temperatures. I ’ ve been wearing it more as casual work/everyday attire. It provides about as much warmth as a long sleeve thermal shirt. I wouldn ’ t wear it in extreme cold but works well as a mid layer when temperatures are down. The thermal hood can be rolled up if you ’ re not using it. Medium size fits a 5 ’ 6 ”, 160lb male with athletic build very well. Sleeves and torso length are just right. Slightly form fitted with room for movement. Material is elastic and stretches. Zipper stash pocket and thumb holes are nice features. I ’ m very happy with the look and feel of this hoodie and would recommend to anyone looking for a nice athletic type hoodie.

It ’s very comfortable and a perfect base layer when it needs to be! I also love the hood, it ’s shaped to my head, not tented or baggy. Fit is more on the fitted side but not so much that I ’ d size up just doesn ’ t have any loose areas. Love it! Definitely will buy more of these!

The hood fits tight when in use, maybe too tight, we 'll see. after I break it in. It also covers the chin and mouth area when pulled up. It could use a chest pocket. I will be using it during a golf trip toi N Ireland with temps in the 50 's and 60' with wind and rain; part of. a layering system I 'm bringing.

[ This is the best mid weight zip neck base layer I ’ ve ever owned. The quality of the fabric is unmatched. I ’ ve never had a Smartwool garment that pilled. It looks good enough to wear as a shirt/sweater. The zipper is first class and the neck doesn ’ t sag. I were it as a base layer skiing all over the IS and Canada, cycling in cold weather, and under a shirt all winter to take the North Atlantic chill of fall through spring.
