[ Love this! I returned a different Smartwool balaclava because it would n't stay up on my nose. This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Smartwool was kind enough to give me a credit for the other balaclava so this was no more out of pocket money. Very happy with this product and their customer service.

[ I love this headband. This is the fourth one I have purchase. The first one I purchase was around 2012. It is fraying, and after receiving the new one, I realized how flat it was, but it held up well for a decade. I bought a second one around 2016. I bought it because one was not enough for colder weather. That might sound like a negative, but I like layering these. They are flat, and I always keep them in the breast pocket of my jacket. When I need one, I wear it. When I need more warmth, I add another. It's layering for your head. I think they are remarkably warm for as thin as they are. For years I rode my bicycle to work, and I did n't stop during the cold months. The great thing about these headbands is I can adjust my helmet a little bigger and wear one or two of these underneath. The third one I bought recently will replace the one I have had since 2010. The fourth one I just purchased is for me wife. It 'll will be her first one, but she really likes mine, so I bought her one. Even though it is wool, it is not itchy. This is a great headband, and I highly recommend it.

[ The gloves are great for liners in a mitten but are exceptionally warm by themselves. When its super cold they easily slip under a pair of mittens or larger gloves. Very happy with the Smartwool liner gloves.
5

[ I bought a pair of these liners for myself as my hands are always cold while skiing. My boyfriend asked me about them and I said I love them! You can pull your hand out of a heavy ski mitten and use your phone with these on! I do n't even have to use the throw- away hand warmers any longer! LOVE THESE SO MUCH I BOUGHT A PAIR FOR MY BOYFRIEND AND HE LOVES THEM TOO!!!
5
Gabby
[ I got these liners for a mountaineering trip. Tried them out last weekend ice climbing and they worked great! I also used them as standalone gloves on a warmer, dry day and they worked well.
5
Dirty Yellow Shorts
[ I bought these gloves to use during a 100- mile race to keep my hands from freezing into useless nubs. I carried them the entire time yet the temps never dropped below 67 degrees. HOWEVER. They were lightweight enough that they did n't slow me down, if it HAD gotten cold then I 'm confident my hands would have stayed toasty warm, and I still love the color as it matches my aesthetic. You should buy these gloves. Worst case, you do n't need them but at least you look trendy and ready for anything.

[ These are so comfortable- I just bought another pair! They 're a trim fit without feeling constricting and I have n't had any chafing issues, even when they 're totally wet. [ I was somewhat uncertain about this since it seemed a bit thin but decided to give it a try since the weather is now dropping below freezing. I love this and wear it almost daily. I generally wear it like a light jacket rather than a baselayer and it is just enough to take the chill off. I also tried it as a baselayer while hiking. It was fantastic. I shed layers while going up to just this and was fine at about 40 degrees. I added a vest when coming back down and not working as hard. Even though I wear it like a jacket, its not going to block any wind so use it under something else if its windy. Overall, I really like this and would 100% buy it again.

[ Merino is THE stuff for active comfort in the cold. The key is staying dry between rain, snow, and sweat... it's challenging. 100%( 95 and 88 also good) merino helps to achieve this goal. It's warm when you need it to be and water( all types) evaporates quickly to keep you from getting chilled from damp clothing. It's got to be part of a system though, and you have to use that system properly or you will get damp and cold. We just came back from five nights in our tent@ an avg. of 26F at night. After hiking all day in these and then, putting on fresh Smartwool tops and bottoms we were warm all night( we could have stayed in the same set if we had to). Medium weight is probably fine for most applications, but do be sure you 've got the right system for the conditions. In summer and spring it's less critical, but in winter( THE best time IMO)... having the wrong gear can make for a miserable experience... and a dangerous one. Smartwool has the added benefit of being able to go in the dryer at home... not all merino products can. That's my take.
5
JKNOR
[ When it comes to staying warm during the winter, base layers are KEY! My old Smartwool long- sleeve lasted me years of use. Loved my first one so much that when it came to finally replace it, it was a no brainer. Kept me comfortable and warm during winter months of New Zealand, Japan, all the way to the summit of Mauna Kea. I 've never had a base layer fit so good right off the shelf. Felt like it I was putting on my favorite tshit. Could n't recommend it more

[ I bought this about a month ago in black and Heather gray. I do miles of outdoor walking every day and need a base layer for walking in the winter in Vermont. This works well as a first layer a shirt and my down jacket. Washed well in cold water, hang on a hanger to dry.
5
sof2024
[ This is my go- to base layer for skiing( or any other outdoor cardio activity... if I ever did one). It's form fitting and has great mobility. I always use merino fabric as my base layer since it's' breathable and odor- resistant. This top kept me warm but not overheated in 30 degree weather with a down ski jacket. I prefer to minimize my layers so this top paired with my jacket is all I need in everything but extremely cold or warm skiing weather. It's also stylish and looks good with ski pants on its own for apres!
5
Cutie
[ I love smartwool classic( midweight) baselayers. Live in Ohio where it's freezing winters and these tops work great as a baselayer or a stand alone top. They are wool so they breathe and it dries quickly if it gets damp( Unlike cotton). I have multiple smartwool tops& love them all.
5
VermontWinter
[ I bought this as a present for my daughter. It ’s perfect as an under layer for skiing. I can always count on Smartwool for quality products. She loves it!
