Zeejet
[ An excellent product with a compromise between the benefits/draw- back of PE and merino fabrics. My main criticism is the extremely high- cut waist that rides all the way up to the belly button. It should be about two inches shorter than it currently is. Fit( Men's Medium): Great in the legs but unusually high waist band. I 'm 5' 9 '', 165lb, 31 '' Waist, Climber's Build. Pros:+ Excellent wicking and drying times+ Warm+ Quality build Cons:- Unusual cut and fit at the waist- While already very soft to the touch, just a tad coarse compared to Icebreakers products.

[ These are so comfortable- I just bought another pair! They 're a trim fit without feeling constricting and I have n't had any chafing issues, even when they 're totally wet. I like that they dry fast so I can rinse and repeat. The 2 pockets feel secure, too. I 've had my first pair for a year and they look new so I think these will last a long time.

[ Great: style, fit, material, design. The liner is not tight like ALL OTHER women ’s shorts- no show liner! The zipper in the back is perfect for chapstick and a key. I have many of these shorts, my go- to for any run 5 to 50 miles.

[ I love these shorts, the material is nice and soft. They look cute on as well. I am 5 ’ 11 at 155 pounds and got L. You can wear these to hiking, or just out and about. [ Didn ’ t realize the only part lined with Merino is the waistband( and front pocket lining feels similar); the rest is synthetic. Guess that ’s what “ Waistband lined with Merino… ” means- doh! Like the main fabric being thin yet sturdy with tight weave. Love zippers on front pockets, would like on back too. Will take traveling to wear walking/hiking, or under a thinner casual skirt to use the pockets and act like a slip.

[ I bought these shorts over the summer before a big camping trip in the Rockies and Tetons and they held up perfectly. Finally shorts that do n't ride up with any sort of movement and they kept me cool and wicked sweat. The length is perfect in the sense they are not too long or too short. I bought three more colors and these will be the only shorts I will wear now.

[ These are my first pair of wool shorts so I was n't sure what to expect. They are fantastic! I thought that they would attract dog hair( I have 4 pups), and they have n't at all! My only problem is that I 'm kind of a hard fit right now and I did n't want them to be too small so they are a bit too big. But that's completely my fault. Very comfortable! Perfect for skiing& broadly wearing outdoors to stay cozy.

K Nicholson
This set is overall one of the best winter base layer fits I ’ ve had the chance to try out in the elements( as of yet). The fleecy layer inside isn ’ t too thick, so it will keep you decently warm while not feeling overly constricting( it won ’ t ruin or take away from your outfit either). If I was to give constructive feedback on anything, it would be that they are a little short in length( mind you, I ’ m 5 ’ 11 ”). So, I ’ m really not picky about that kind of thing( for leggings in particular). Especially as they do have a bit of stretch. I would say that they are relatively true to size, maybe size down if you ’ re on the more petite side of the spectrum.

[ Had some merino blend boxers of unknown countenance that were my go- to workout undies in cold weather. They finally wore out and I checked the label to see if I could get a next- gen replacement. Happy to see that Icebreakers was still there. So I bought three. And they rule.

These are in my daily driver rotation. No complaints, especially at the sale price I picked them up for. Tencel blend durability seems fine for merino, so they 're reasonable value.

Ex. Sam
[ These are a 10/10! I 'm very picky about fit and do n't care for most long underwear, but when it gets down to below freezing, I need the extra warmth and these are PERFECT! They are warm but not bulky, trim but not constricting. I ca n't recommend them enough. As for sizing, I went by the size guide and it said to order a M. I 'm usually a S, or size 6, with a short inseam, but I hate when things are tight around by waist, so, I ordered the tights in a M. When it arrived, it was a little big-- not terribly, but it was a little loose. I could have lived with it, but decided to try the S thinking that I would return the M if the S fit better. The S was actually a perfect fit, but the tights are so nice, that I decided to keep both and give the M to my daughter.

April
[ Comfy and soft. I purchased a XL I am 5' 4 '' and weighed 175lbs at the mid of my second trimester being pregnant and the fit nice. I think they will fit nice after birth too though I might need to go get a M or a L later. When not pregnant I 'm less curvy with no baby bump, I usually purchase mediums. Though occasionally a large if the fit is really `` fitted ''.

[ These are the kind of shorts you buy once and wear for the next thirty years. They are very high quality, soft, comfortable, and fit exactly right. I bought two pairs of the 10 inch and loved them so much I bought two more of the 8 ”. I am quite happy with all four pairs. They are the best shorts I ’ ve every used in hot climates. I use the 10 ” shorts for swimming and they dry incredibly fast. Freakishly fast. The 8 ” for traveling around during the day doing the daily and touristy thing. The back zippered pocket is a nice touch. Unless I lose them or gain too much weight I ’ d imagine they ’ d be the last pair if shorts I ’ ll buy. Sorry Smartwool. You shouldn ’ t have made such a durable quality pair of shorts.

[ I wanted shorts with built in liner for around the house and running errands. These meet those needs. Comfy and soft.
5
Coyote
[ I appreciate that these shorts are not made with synthetic fibers because the air does flow through the fabric to cool you down when running in high temperatures. What a relief that is. They are my favorite running shorts of all time now. I bought both colors and they are gorgeous. The waistband is so comfortable which is a huge plus for me. They are a little bit low rise if you are tall like me. They could have a bit of a longer rise for us tall girls but they 'll do. They are still very comfortable and I will purchase these shorts again and again. They are true to size. I always wear medium in running shorts and its the same with these shorts.

Men's underwear today is terrible-- giant elastic waistbands branded like billboards, fabric down to your knees, sweaty cotton, or Borat- style ridiculous with pouches that no- one actually fills. These are the underwear I consistently reach for when I travel. They are lightweight, breathable, and stay funk free. I can wash them and hang to dry at night, and they are ready to go the next day. I 've tried merino wool underwear from other brands, but these are the best, IMO- I find compared to the other brands they are more breathable, dry more quickly, and last a lot longer. Another high quality product from Icebreaker!
5
Nicole S
I love icebreaker underwear. It ’s all I wear anymore! It ’s wicking and less odor than other fabrics. Perfect for everyday wear or backpacking. I personally prefer the fit of the hipkini over these, but still a great choice.

I 've tried many styles and a few different brands for wool undies, these are by far my favorite so far. No tight seams digging into your bum cheeks. I 'm 5' 5 '' 130 lbs athletic( size 2 in jeans) and the smalls and mediums of these both fit( the medium fits better).
5
Sarita
[ I started to solely convert to wool undies a few years ago because they 're far more durable, easy to sink wash on vacation, and much less likely to get icky on long backpacking trips when no sinks are around. Icebreakers are my favorite- they 've held up to the test of time and the elastic bits have stayed tight( unlike my Smartwool undies which have become saggy over time). Highly recommend!

The merino Wool is very soft and comfortable. Seems to hold up well so far over the first 3 months. Pretty stylish in my opinion for a type of sweatpants, I feel good wearing them at home or out to the store quick. The seems accurate, I am 6' 1 '', 190 lbs and got a Large.

[ I bought another brand's merino pants a few years ago when I found them on sale, but within a year they were stretched out and kind of a mess. I then upgraded to the Icebreaker joggers I had always wanted, which are perfect for lounging and for outdoor wear! I love mine so much that I bought these for my husband. They 're a great color, plenty long for his 6' 2 '' height, and cozy but polished. We are huge fans and from now on it's Icebreaker or nothing.

Bicichica
[ Decided to try the mens medium, even though I 'm a woman large in these joggers normally. Fits fine. And love the russet neutral autumn wheat color. Has a nice feel, a little cooler, since it's not 100 percent merino. Ice breaker is one of my favorite brands!

I bought these for my husband. He needed new long John ’s, so I got him these. He normally wears a large, but I had to get a size smaller. He very happy with them especially since this cold snap we ’ re having is pretty bad.

Size up. Not bulky or heavy feeling. Keeps you warm. Have n't felt overheated. Good for single digit temps.

I love that the wool is light weight, yet warm. ... I like the medium to light weight of the wool. ... stretchy knit ponte fabric combines moisture management, temperature regulation, and odor resistance of merino, the durability and quick dry time...

[ I ordered these in the brown color and sized up based on the reviews. Unfortunately, they were humongous on me and had to be returned. Liked them otherwise... Did not try the next size down, but might in the future.

[ A friend wears these when we walk and they look so warm and comfy so I bought a pair. They will be great for walking, travel and lounging because they are very warm and lightweight. I bought my first Merino wool in New Zealand and never regretted paying the big bucks. The 4 star rating is because of fit. The Small size is very baggy. I am thin, 120# 5' 7 '' and I feel even an XS might be that way. I will still enjoy them because they are warm. I was just hoping for more of a yoga pant slimmer fit for potential evening wear.
