Took awhile to break in but they ’ re pretty solid after that. I feel really locked in with this shoes, does have a little bulkier sneaker feeling like a Nike SB shoe but I like it. I had absolutely no issues with my heel slipping, my shoelace actually came undone and I played about 3 minutes with an untied shoe and was able to run around just fine. I can see why people won ’ t like it when they fist try it on but you got ta give it time to break in.

[ The nike air max portal fit good they are true to size and they don ’ t slip off of my feet. I did n't have a problem with the shoe rubbing on my heel so I did n't get any irratation on my achilles. My favorite part is the detail with the check mark it ’s smooth and popped up. The shoes are made from this sponge like material which is a plus because I haven ’ t gotten any creases. They are easy to clean with a cloth, I even threw them in the washer and I didn ’ t have any problem with them. These have been my go to shoes recently because the black and white color way pair well with my outfits. I was worried that the back on the sole would look bulky but once you put them on they don ’ t seem as bulky. They are lightweight and have cushion which makes them feel good on the feet. Most shoes tire me out because I walk a lot but I didn ’ t have that problem with these. I ’ m always looking for shoes with cushion because it makes wearing them more comfortable. I will say that since they are black I feel like they attract the sun and it makes my feet feel hot. I can ’ t wait to wear them in the fall/winter season though.

They provided ample cushioning and my feet did n't feel tired during or after long walks on roads and concrete sidewalks. I will say, the fit is good but they did feel tight when putting them on for the first few times which felt annoying but after a while they do loosen up so just be wary of a slightly long break in period with the shoes. I am also a big fan of the design of the shoes as they go with the chunky style shoe trend that was popular for a while. If you 're not a fan of that style of shoe, then these are n't the shoes for you from a style perspective. One thing I would change is the lacing system as I feel it can definitely be a bit too constrictive at times, especially fresh out of the box, and this becomes an annoying part of putting on the shoes. If it can be made easier to put the shoes on then I think these would be perfect.
