Best winter hunting boots you can get. I 've been using mine for about 10 years now, and buy a set for each of my teens each year. If you get the fit right, they do n't pull your socks down when you walk. Very good for walking unlink the tradition tall boots. Most importantly, they are the only boots that you can sit for a couple of hours in the winter with and your feet do n't get cold. Any other boot I have ever tried, even the ones that claim- 30C, my feet always got cold really quickly, Even in only- 10C. Yet these boots I can sit for a couple of hours in- 30C, and everything else on me gets cold EXCEPT my feet.

[ I 've been looking for an alternative to my Xtratuffs and came across these. The comfort on the midsole is what I was really looking forward too. Long days on my feet on a 10+ hour workday means I need all the comfort I can get and so far these shoes have met my expectations. So far the outer water protection layer is holding up. The only downside I 've found so far is the opening to the shoe is narrow and I have to wear long socks or pants that come down to protect my shins from all the rubbing and hitting from walking.

So far, the traction, warmth, and waterproofing of these shoes has been elite. I have tested these out for hours out on icy and snowy sidewalks, trails, and roads with no issues. Where I live( Washington DC) we do n't get crazy amounts of snow, but we will have the occasional winter storm and get 6- 10 inches or so. I needed a boot to keep my feet warm and dry when I walk my dog, run errands, etc. But I did n't need super heavy duty boot to shovel snow in. I chose this because I liked that the shaft was n't too high, so I could still wear it with most of my pants. We just had a winter storm. The snow was deep enough that it covered my entire boot and yet they kept my feet SUPER warm and I did n't feel slippery when walking on ice. The waterproof material kept my feet dry, and they are also SUPER CUTE! I am a true 7. 5( according to the size chart; my feet are 24 cm), but I still ordered a size 8 based on reviews saying it ran small, and I think I made the right decision. I think if I ordered my exact size I would n't have room to wear thick socks.

The boots are great! Handled spring time in Colorado so raining, ice, sleet and then snow all in one day. I mucked horse stalls and had very warm feet while doing that chore. I was outside for 2 hours and my feet and calves didn ’ t get cold. I was able to walk uphill on ice and not slip. They are comfortable and require little “ break in ”. Great purchase.

I have flat arches and over pronating hind feet so I was thrilled my orthotics fit in place of the company made insoles. There is arch support in the Tivoli Resort that is comparable to that in Tivoli. The higher platform and deep tread is ideal for the snowy slushy winter terrain. The insulation works perfectly even in below 10 degree weather with windy conditions. The higher top and faux help keep the ankle to calf part of lower leg protected and warm. I was very satisfied with its performance. I used it in Norway, and it was completely waterproof. However, since there is a small gap at the top, I ’ d recommend wearing waterproof trousers over it to prevent water from getting in. Also, I suggest ordering one size up. I went half a size up, which was fine, but it felt a bit tight with thick winter socks. That said, the boots are already very warm on their own. I only needed extra layers because I was in- 6°C weather.

I bought the boots in green last year. Have worn them one winter. Warm boots and comfortable for long walks. Nice looks. High quality inside out.
