I had a pair of Muckmaster boots and they lasted for 4 winters of daily dog walks, maintaining their waterproof quality even after the sole of one boot started to come away. My wife bought me a pair of these Arctic Sport boots and apart from the logo at first sight they appear( and fit) identical to the Muckmasters. The extra thermal protection does not change the fit. Construction quality appears to be very good with the same excellent materials. Hoping for some snow now to really test them out!

These are the warmest boots my husband has ever worn. We went ice fishing yesterday in 30 degree weather. His boots had his feet nice& toasty warm. These boots are like puting on an awesome pair of mittens. Once you figure out what layers to wear for the right fit( chaffing). The group is great on slick snow and crunchy. I have several different brands and types of this kind of boot and these are the best of them all. Ended up having to wear them for a week straight for 9+ hours and did n't bother me a bit. I ’ m on my second Canadian winter with these. Very warm, very comfortable. They ’ re tall, almost up to my knee, and fit snug around my leg( though not “ tight ”) so as not to have huge gaps where snow can get in. The Vibram Ice sole works — good traction on slippery surfaces. Note, however, these boots are not light, nor are they flexible like cheap boots — there ’ ll be no trips strolling in the mall with these. These are serious boots for serious cold.

I received my boots 6- weeks ago and have worn them a dozen times building mountain bike trails in Northern California. The boots are very comfortable, have great traction and warm in cool weather. What I like best about the boots is that I am sure footed when working on steep grades, in mud, and in thick bushes. Plus having to hike in to get to a trail section may be over a mile which is no problem with these boots, just a joy splashing through rivers, muck, you name it.

I bough these boots due to the fact that with the size of my calf's it is hard for me to remove regular muck boots. I have had these boots for a week and used them at work everyday and have zero complaints as they are very comfortable and warm. my only complaint would be with the shipping company Purolator, they did n't deliver on time and miss routed the package then tried listing a weather delay between Edmonton and Yellowknife as another issue. when asked about the delay they could n't tell anything and there was nothing about weather delays on the Weather Network or Alberta511 Hwy info service.
