I 've had this boot for 2 weeks and it has held up well with hourly patrols which total around 15, 000- 20, 000 steps a day. Pair it with compression socks or nicely padded merino wool socks and you wo n't have any foot pain at all. I 'm 250lb so it should be even more comfortable for those people who weigh less and are in better shape than me.

I was searching for a comfortable shoe that would clear the metal detector at work, and these were recommended to me. I did n't need to break them in at all, they are n't too stiff. These are the most comfortable boots I have ever purchased. Not only are they comfortable but they are durable as well. I bought them specially for use in the Everglades' diverse terrain. Wet, rocky, sandy, muddy, thickets, they conquered it all, with ease. My only wish is that I would have purchased a darker pair. Also important is the comfort they provided when using my E- bike to reach some of the hiking spots. Im 69 years old and appreciate the comfort of these boots.

I work as a land surveyor and walk/ hike several hours a day. The terrain is often uneven and rocky. I also tend to have `` hot '' feet. Any boot with a `` water proof '' label are guaranteed to have me feet wet from sweat within 2 hours. These boots keep my feet dry, cool, and comfortable. I 've been working outside in work boots for 35 years, and I 've worked all over the world. These might be the best boots I 've ever had. I still need to judge the durability, but so far, so good. These are a replacement pair for the same boot style i bought 2 years ago, They fit the same as the old ones. Just needed some new ones due to getting deer blood on the previous pair. Comfy and hold up well. Worn daily from the street to the field. They do dry quickly. They have good ankle support when hunting mushroom in the hills and are nice and quite when stalking game, with proper foot placement I went with a half size up this time to account for thicker socks in the winter.
