I wear them while landscaping everyday, pushing down on a shovel, scooping rock, planting shrubs, getting about 20, 000 steps a day and never tired feet. I highly recommend these. Thirty years ago I suffered a severe mid foot crush fracture which is now arthritic combined with areas of non- union. I have worn Morrell Moab 3 ’s for many years with orthotics and had the best support possible, but the antora has given me amazing pain free ambulation while walking our rural property and roads, as well as while shopping and walking the dogs. The shoes are lighter weight, still offer excellent support especially mid- foot, with quicker and easier breakover which makes an enormous difference to my gait and comfort. Bought these as a work shoe as I work in hvac and am anywhere from rooftops to crawl spaces, outdoors in the woods to city sidewalks. They are very comfortable and keep my feet dry in the rain and breathe enough so I don ’ t sweat like crazy in the hot attics. The sole has enough grip to keep me from slipping on wet banks. I feel like I have some extra spring in my step with the thick cushiony heel on these boots. My only complaint is the elastic cord for the lace eyelets. On the left boot the cord is cut too long inside the shoe and if my foot is pressed up against anything on the outside it hurts. Other than that I ’ m very pleased.

I haven ’ t tested these in the wild a lot yet but they are extremely comfy and lightweight which were my biggest requirements. I ’ m only petite and a lot of other brands feel really heavy and look silly on my legs, so I am extremely pleased with these. The fact that they are waterproof as well is the cherry on top!

I got these for work, I work in landscape. I really love the style of these, I get lots of compliments on them. I got the tan leather color which I love. originally went half size bigger like website suggested but it was to big so I went with my true size a 10. I ’ ve worn them the last week so far so good took a day to break them in they were tiny bit stiff but so far I enjoy them. Wore them during the rain as well and was impressed with the waterproofing feet stayed nice and dry.

Bought these as soon as they came out for a busy summer. My first adventure was a Grand Canyon Rim- 2- Rim hike in July. 24+ miles in one day. These were fantastic. Perfect in the extreme heat and dried relatively quickly after a few stream crossings. I then wore these on a 24 hour( 42 mile) hike through the mountains of north Georgia. Very hot and humid, and again no issues with discomfort or blisters. Even after wading through several streams. I have over 100 miles in these and my feet were not a factor and I never thought about my shoes.

I 've been wearing Lone Peaks for a long time, and the Timp is even a step up from those other early models. Though I 've had surgery on both feet and ca n't wear a lot of other hikers, these are comfortable in all aspects. Lightweight, not too hot, good toe room, great look, quick to dry. They seem sturdy so far. Two small complaints- wish the tongue was gusseted to keep debris out, and would like a swatch of heel velcro for gaiters. But those are minor issues. I will be buying a second pair to keep on the shelf until next year or whenever these wear out. Highly recommend.

This hiking shoe is so smooth. The weight of the shoe is so light which is exactly what I need with ankle issues. I went half a step up because I wear ankle braces that fit comfortably inside the shoe. I usually wear an 11 in Altra but got 11. 5 to accommodate the ankle supports. The high top hides most of my ankle support which is nice. I highly recommend this shoe for those that are challenged physically by their feet with some mobility issues. For me it means I can enjoy more pain- fee hikes and walks around the city/country.

All I did was work some boot dressing into the INSIDE of the top of the boot shaft( the leather area), right where it meets( and rubs against) the tongue.( In other words, inside the boot, just opposite the very top lace anchor.) WALA- no more squeak!

[ Hiked for a little over a mile in these and they were extremely comfortable. They kept my feet warm in the winter while still feeling very breathable. I also felt there was very good traction and did n't have to worry about slipping, even in less than desirable weather conditions.

I wear them as daily shoes and they have excellent traction in all the wet and slick spots that are pretty common this time of year. They ’ re very breathable shoes, so much so that my feet have been getting a little cold when wearing them outside in the frigid temps here in the midwest. That being said, the memory foam in insoles of the shoes make these super comfortable on my feet when I ’ m going for walks and little treks around the neighborhood. I can ’ t wait to wear these out on my next hiking adventure to really test out their comfort and durability. For now though, I love these shoes!

I bought the Moab Speed 2Mid Gore Tex hiking shoes two years ago. These shoes are an improvement from my original shoes. I wear them when I walk the dog or go on hikes.
