Best winter hunting boots you can get. I 've been using mine for about 10 years now, and buy a set for each of my teens each year. If you get the fit right, they do n't pull your socks down when you walk. Very good for walking unlink the tradition tall boots. Most importantly, they are the only boots that you can sit for a couple of hours in the winter with and your feet do n't get cold. Any other boot I have ever tried, even the ones that claim- 30C, my feet always got cold really quickly, Even in only- 10C. Yet these boots I can sit for a couple of hours in- 30C, and everything else on me gets cold EXCEPT my feet.

So far, the traction, warmth, and waterproofing of these shoes has been elite. I have tested these out for hours out on icy and snowy sidewalks, trails, and roads with no issues. Where I live( Washington DC) we do n't get crazy amounts of snow, but we will have the occasional winter storm and get 6- 10 inches or so. I needed a boot to keep my feet warm and dry when I walk my dog, run errands, etc. But I did n't need super heavy duty boot to shovel snow in. I chose this because I liked that the shaft was n't too high, so I could still wear it with most of my pants. We just had a winter storm. The snow was deep enough that it covered my entire boot and yet they kept my feet SUPER warm and I did n't feel slippery when walking on ice. The waterproof material kept my feet dry, and they are also SUPER CUTE! I am a true 7. 5( according to the size chart; my feet are 24 cm), but I still ordered a size 8 based on reviews saying it ran small, and I think I made the right decision. I think if I ordered my exact size I would n't have room to wear thick socks.

[ I 've been looking for an alternative to my Xtratuffs and came across these. The comfort on the midsole is what I was really looking forward too. Long days on my feet on a 10+ hour workday means I need all the comfort I can get and so far these shoes have met my expectations. So far the outer water protection layer is holding up. The only downside I 've found so far is the opening to the shoe is narrow and I have to wear long socks or pants that come down to protect my shins from all the rubbing and hitting from walking.

These boots are fantastic! I had to get a good pair of boots that would allow me to be outside, standing on concrete for 1 1/2- 2 hours and keep my feet warm. I also did NOT want a huge pair of clunky boots. These fit the bill. They are light weight, yet surprisingly warm, and have thick soles to help insulate your feet from the cold ground. I have flat arches and over pronating hind feet so I was thrilled my orthotics fit in place of the company made insoles. There is arch support in the Tivoli Resort that is comparable to that in Tivoli. The higher platform and deep tread is ideal for the snowy slushy winter terrain. The insulation works perfectly even in below 10 degree weather with windy conditions. The higher top and faux help keep the ankle to calf part of lower leg protected and warm. I ’ m even comfortable in them for an 8- hour shift in retail involving going up and down ladders. Highly recommend for women with C width feet( wider than typical but not quite wide.). I ’ m able to wear thick socks so it might work for someone wide footed as well.

I wear these shoes to work every day and everywhere. Tough as nails and looks great even beat up. I never complain about foot pain anymore with these. The soles are so tough and the wear is minimal. The leather does wear out after a while meaning a looser fit but the hide hold up. I 'm on my 3 or 4th pair.

I ’ m a hairstylist and on my feet basically 24/7, I actually wear these to work pretty often bc they ’ re so comfortable( with my specialty inserts for super high arches) and they are awesome! The best thing is that they ’ re warm enough for me to wear to the dog park when it ’s freezing( below zero here in Mn) but also not so hot that I can actually wear them all day at work inside. Have always loved Sorel boots and needed a new boot with good traction because my arches have fallen and feet have spread. Over the years the boots have gone from being roomy in the toe area to more narrow and fashion oriented. I was afraid this boot wouldn ’ t be wide enough in the toe box to accommodate my bad bunions. This boot worked well with a little bit of stretching in the forefoot. It looks like it might be heavy to walk in but I didn ’ t find that at all. This newer model has a wider footbed- which is great for more stability, and an improved sole which is a great redesign as well. These boots are pretty Awesome! I have had the caribous- 2 pairs over 30 years!! and they are great for super snowy days but they are a heavy boot. These are nice and lightweight and still warm. I did size up after I ordered my normal 6. 5, TOO small. I was a little worried the 7's would be too big but they are great- I do have a little room in the heel but it is fine. I walk my dog almost everyday at least a mile if not 3 or 4 and these feel great. I should mention I do wear thin socks since I saw another review and she said she sized up because she wears thick socks. I do not own thick socks- they are not my preference. Buy these boots they are awesome
