I have relatively wide feet and after reading the reviews, I decided to size up. To be precise, I measure 23cm so technically a 6, and after going up a whole size, I found that they ’ ll be okay to wear with thinner socks( especially once I break them in). If you want to wear chunky socks, I ’ d probably go even bigger.

I got these boots for a trip to Iceland and ordered a half a size up from my normal 8. 5. They were really, really narrow. I then ordered the size up but those were too big and I sent them back. This boot is so unbelievably comfortable, but it does run large. I have never, in my adult life, worn anything smaller than a 10 in any shoe( boot, sneaker, sandal, heel) but the size 10 in these was considerably larger than I could wear! Half size down should do it, and I ca n't wait for the 9. 5 to arrive. They are great quality, cozy, and well worth the spend.

I wear these shoes to work every day and everywhere. Tough as nails and looks great even beat up. I never complain about foot pain anymore with these. The soles are so tough and the wear is minimal. The leather does wear out after a while meaning a looser fit but the hide hold up. I 'm on my 3 or 4th pair.

Thanks SOREL for supplying me with work shoes! This is my fourth pair of Sorel boots. I have worn them for years. These shoes get beat up and worn out. I have gotten rid of one pair, a suede pair, because after years of being in the elements they were not looking very professional anymore- but the shoe was still holding up minus the, understandably, worn down tread on the ball of the foot. The Emelie can be slipped on and off! Totally love this feature in a bootie. I ’ m still breaking them in but the foot shape that Sorel uses fits my “ pizza ” feet well( thinner mid foot and slightly wider toe splay). I sized 1/2 down for the Emelie because the last pair of boots I bought broke in so well that they are a tad floppy now. The Emelie is surprisingly still a tad big with thin compression socks but will be fine once I switch to my winter compressions. Love adding this to my collection!

I have flat arches and over pronating hind feet so I was thrilled my orthotics fit in place of the company made insoles. There is arch support in the Tivoli Resort that is comparable to that in Tivoli. The higher platform and deep tread is ideal for the snowy slushy winter terrain. The insulation works perfectly even in below 10 degree weather with windy conditions. The higher top and faux help keep the ankle to calf part of lower leg protected and warm. I ’ m even comfortable in them for an 8- hour shift in retail involving going up and down ladders. Highly recommend for women with C width feet( wider than typical but not quite wide.). I ’ m able to wear thick socks so it might work for someone wide footed as well.

Very happy! For some reason, I have to size up a 1/2 size in Sorel. No biggie. I love the color and versatility of this bootie. Easy to get on/off with the elastic and pull tab. Once on, the elastic is not too tight. I wore them for an entire day before I wrote the review to make sure they meet the mark. The back heel almost makes you feel as though you are slightly forward( hard to describe), but not uncomfortable. I use these for work. The best I have ever had. I have had about 5 pair and love them all except for one. I just started wearing the color major/wet sand. I don ’ t love the suede type material and they are more stiff than all the others. You guys got rid of the best color. I don ’ t remember the name but it was lighter in color. You should bring that back and get rid of the major/wet sand. The material is different and not as comfortable.

I like that it has the metal rivets along the eyelights for the laces. These boots appear as if they were made to last. I would recommend this boot to others. Have always loved Sorel boots and needed a new boot with good traction because my arches have fallen and feet have spread. Over the years the boots have gone from being roomy in the toe area to more narrow and fashion oriented. I was afraid this boot wouldn ’ t be wide enough in the toe box to accommodate my bad bunions. This boot worked well with a little bit of stretching in the forefoot. It looks like it might be heavy to walk in but I didn ’ t find that at all. Super happy I purchased these winter boots. We do n't get snow often but when we do the city is horrible at managing it and these boots are a game changer. Pulling my kiddo up hills in the forest to go sledding, they managed the terrain. They kepts my feet dry, warm and super cozy. I was confused why some people said these shoes are comfortable vs. others who said they are uncomfortable, until I got the shoes. The shoes are rather narrow, so if you have wide and/or flat feet( like me), they will be quite uncomfortable, as your feet with go over the edge and the soles are very hard, and they have a high arch, and they stab you a little bit on the edge. I was tempted to return them but I loved the look of them so I kept wearing them. They eventually broke in a bit, and become more comfortable. Now I do n't even notice the stabbing, or perhaps it is gone. They fit my feet much better now, and I love wearing them around the house. These are my new and cute house shoes. Occasionally I will wear them out, but I fear about getting them dirty! Anyways, the shoes are great, super cute, and take a bit of time to break in. Also the sizing is a bit on the small size. I usually wear an 8, and I got an 8. 5 and they fit just perfectly. I was hoping to wear thick socks with them but they do n't fit then.

I actually do n't own these shoes, but I tried them on in an 8 at the store( I wear 8. 5 but they only had whole sizes) and wanted to say that they are pretty narrow and snug. If I had bought them instead of choosing the Explorer III, I 'd have bought a size 9- 9. 5 just for normal socks. I just wanted to let everyone know they should probably size up, maybe even two sizes! Very cute boots.

Couldn ’ t be happier with these boots! If I could give them 10 stars I would. Feels like you are wearing sneakers but perfectly cozy. I normally wear an 8. 5 but ordered an 9 as that is what I would normally wear in tennis shoes or boots with thicker socks. My foot is on the wider side and these fit great. Exactly what I needed for walking my dog in the cold temps and snow.

Delivery was excellent, one day earlier than expected. Boots are very cute and light. Once I tried them in they fit a bit tight however I walked around the house and they did give in. I am a size 8/wide for reference. Comparing the Uggs they are much flexible and light. We will see how they perform in the snow

I was feeling a little silly getting a pair of these so late in the season but with our snowstorm in Western NY this weekend, I 'm super glad! My feet stay really warm and cozy and when i brush off my car, the snow does not get down into my boots. Absolutely love them and hope they last for many years. I did have to get a full size and a half bigger to fit thick socks but they are perfect now.

For reference, my foot length is 25 cm and width 10 cm, and the size I tried on was EU 39( just because the retailer sent me a wrong size; I initially ordered EU 40). The size fit me but was really snug. I then tried these same shoes in a store and found out my perfect size was EU 40, 5 if I wantes to fit a thicker sock. I never ended up getting these for good though. They are so chic and quite comfy but I ’ m still thinking if they ’ re really practical and fit my style.
