These boots were precisely what I required. Since I have flat feet, balance is always a concern for me, especially on slippery surfaces. I wore them during my Alaska vacation. They provided excellent traction on snow, slush, and ice. For reference, I wear a 10 Wide in Skechers, and these boots I got in a 10. 5 size.

This boot is so unbelievably comfortable, but it does run large. I have never, in my adult life, worn anything smaller than a 10 in any shoe( boot, sneaker, sandal, heel) but the size 10 in these was considerably larger than I could wear! Half size down should do it, and I ca n't wait for the 9. 5 to arrive. They are great quality, cozy, and well worth the spend.

I am so pleased with my Sorels. The pair I bought are replacing the same style I have had for 48 years! I replaced the liners in my old ones once and could probably keep on wearing them the rest of my life, but wanted ones with brand new tread. I hope these last as long as my old ones—amazing quality and wear!

These are the best winter boots I have ever owned. It's been an exceptionally cold and snowy winter and these boots are not only good looking, they check all the boxes. They have kept my feet totally dry and warm, and traction is excellent in icy, wet conditions. I am no longer miserable while taking my active squirrel- chasing dog out in snowy, icy weather. I am obsessed with these boots and they are literally the best snow boots. I walk about 2 miles a day and these literally are so comfortable and never get wet. The grips on the bottom have made me be able to not fall on slippery sludge or ice which has been the most impressive part of my experience with these boots.

Being a Transplant from coast of North Carolina to Massachusetts in the early sixties. I learned very quickly that the Sorel Caribou boot was the Best way to keep feet dry and relatively warm in the Great white Tundra of the North East states. Although the prices continue to increase for them. I have had I pair in 65 years that did n't give at least ten plus years. That pair was damaged by my me by resting a razor tipped arrow head on rubber portion of the boot. It did n't even cut all the way through. I ca n't say enough good things about theses boots. This company work manship or quality

I ’ m a normal 5 1/2- 6 in women ’s shoe size and the Youth size 4 was perfect!! Youth size 5 fit like a women ’s size 6- weird right! But all in all I ’ m very happy with these boots!

[ Had our first large snowfall in Minnesota yesterday! My 8 year old wore these to school and then outside most of the afternoon. They kept her feet warm and dry in Sorel Style! She loves how they look and how comfortable they are. We purchased in her normal size, 3. They have room enough for her to grow a bit, but are not too big. They are easy for her to slip on and tighten easily with the pull string.

[ Bought for my daughter( age 8) and when she saw them she loved the look of them. I love the warmth and durability of Sorel boots but hey I 'll take what I can get. As for how they run I 'd go up one, she wears a 13 in sneakers( new balance) and we got the Y1 in these and they fit with room for nice thick socks. She says they felt very comfy, too. They 're a bit heavy but what sturdy boot is n't? Added bonus is that they look like my Sorel boots and we can match:)

Super happy I purchased these winter boots. We do n't get snow often but when we do the city is horrible at managing it and these boots are a game changer. Pulling my kiddo up hills in the forest to go sledding, they managed the terrain. They kepts my feet dry, warm and super cozy. I went up a half size and there is still a bit of room for super super thick socks. So I 'd say probably go with your normal size. I am so happy with my purchase.

I was very satisfied with its performance. I used it in Norway, and it was completely waterproof. However, since there is a small gap at the top, I ’ d recommend wearing waterproof trousers over it to prevent water from getting in. Also, I suggest ordering one size up. I went half a size up, which was fine, but it felt a bit tight with thick winter socks. That said, the boots are already very warm on their own. I only needed extra layers because I was in- 6°C weather.
