To be precise, I measure 23cm so technically a 6, and after going up a whole size, I found that they ’ ll be okay to wear with thinner socks( especially once I break them in). Once on, the elastic is not too tight. I wore them for an entire day before I wrote the review to make sure they meet the mark. The back heel almost makes you feel as though you are slightly forward( hard to describe), but not uncomfortable. I wish the bottom of the sole was a little more lug, or aggressive because I am in snow and ice. Did I mention they are waterproof!!!!

I have never, in my adult life, worn anything smaller than a 10 in any shoe( boot, sneaker, sandal, heel) but the size 10 in these was considerably larger than I could wear! Half size down should do it, and I ca n't wait for the 9. 5 to arrive. They are great quality, cozy, and well worth the spend.

I wear these shoes to work every day and everywhere. Tough as nails and looks great even beat up. I never complain about foot pain anymore with these. The soles are so tough and the wear is minimal. The leather does wear out after a while meaning a looser fit but the hide hold up. I 'm on my 3 or 4th pair.

I have flat arches and over pronating hind feet so I was thrilled my orthotics fit in place of the company made insoles. There is arch support in the Tivoli Resort that is comparable to that in Tivoli. The higher platform and deep tread is ideal for the snowy slushy winter terrain. The insulation works perfectly even in below 10 degree weather with windy conditions. The higher top and faux help keep the ankle to calf part of lower leg protected and warm. I ’ m even comfortable in them for an 8- hour shift in retail involving going up and down ladders. Highly recommend for women with C width feet( wider than typical but not quite wide.). I ’ m able to wear thick socks so it might work for someone wide footed as well.

Recently I had to work for several hours out in the rain and every layer I was wearing ended up soaked- but my socks and feet stayed dry! I ’ ve had 2 pair of these boots for a year and still love them. We live in the rainy PNW, so dry feet are a must. These are my “ Seattle Day ” shoes when going into the city. They are sturdy, super comfortable with ample foot cushioning, and most of all, DRY with their waterproofing. I have gotten rid of one pair, a suede pair, because after years of being in the elements they were not looking very professional anymore- but the shoe was still holding up minus the, understandably, worn down tread on the ball of the foot. The Emelie can be slipped on and off! Totally love this feature in a bootie. I ’ m still breaking them in but the foot shape that Sorel uses fits my “ pizza ” feet well( thinner mid foot and slightly wider toe splay). I sized 1/2 down for the Emelie because the last pair of boots I bought broke in so well that they are a tad floppy now. I have worn them indoors for 1- 2 hours without difficulty and then started wearing them outdoors for 1- 2 hour walks with my dog. We were on sidewalks and in wooded areas. I actually do n't own these shoes, but I tried them on in an 8 at the store( I wear 8. 5 but they only had whole sizes) and wanted to say that they are pretty narrow and snug. If I had bought them instead of choosing the Explorer III, I 'd have bought a size 9- 9. 5 just for normal socks. This is my second pair of Bearpaws and I love how soft and warm they are! This style does not have the leather loop on the back of the boot though which makes it harder to pull on. The color is pretty light and it did lightly stain when I wore them out in wet weather, but overall it was n't too bad and I wiped them off with a wet towel and they cleaned up OK, not like new, but not terrible looking. They have `` Bearcoat '' which is supposed to be weatherproof.

I got these to replace my other pair of sheepskin boots. I got my correct size and due to the fur pile, they are snug... AS THEY SHOULD BE! I know over time they will compress and conform to my foot. I love these booties. Though a slightly narrower opening than I am used to, after a little wiggling, they go on and are beyond comfortable.

[ When you find a pair that fits you as if it was made for you. You stick with them. Usually, brands tweak things over the years so when you need a new paired, you ’ re screwed! These are a classic. The first pair I bought myself in 2014, side by side with their replacement that just arrived today. Pulled them out of the box and it was like meeting an old friend that hasn ’ t changed a bit. The fit and feel, perfection. Now, I literally hiked the soles off of the old pair. The toes cracked. Laces frayed but original. Have always loved Sorel boots and needed a new boot with good traction because my arches have fallen and feet have spread. Over the years the boots have gone from being roomy in the toe area to more narrow and fashion oriented. I was afraid this boot wouldn ’ t be wide enough in the toe box to accommodate my bad bunions. This boot worked well with a little bit of stretching in the forefoot. It looks like it might be heavy to walk in but I didn ’ t find that at all. Perfect height and easy to tie and so far has great traction on snow and ice. Be sure and order 1/2 size larger.

I 've been using these for my outdoor gardening and landscaping projects and my initial impression was shock at just how comfortable they were. In using them, working all day, my feet were n't sore like they have been with other boots. I absolutely loved that I could just straight hose them off at the end of the day, when they say waterproof, they mean waterproof. Not just part of the boot, the whole thing. 10/10 would recommend. Pro tip, get a size bigger than your normal size, and if it's not snug enough, pick up an insole to add in it.
