A couple of weeks ago, Muck Boot sent me a pair of boots to try out. I ’ ve worn them for everything from ag field days to foraging herbs in the woods, to the steam threshers event, to going to the grocery store. They are by far the most comfortable boots I ’ ve ever worn. My favorite thing is that the sole is soft and “ bouncy ”. I ’ m a very active person who has chronic pain. Good shoes are very important to help keep the pain as minimal as possible. These do the trick. OMG I CAN NOT say enough about these boots.... I will be ordering them in all 3 colors. I had yet to find a hiking boot that didnt cause me foot pain, blisters, or hot spots.... until now. These fit my feet perfectly. The toe box is typically where i struggle with hiking boots- blisters and pain of the great toe and medial ball of foot. Even while breaking these in I did not experience either of these issues. I have tried SO many other brands without finding the right fit.... i resorted to hiking Montana's Mountains in luna sandals because i could not find a hiking shoe/boot that didnt cause foot pain. The `` Boa system '' is really cool. Instead of leather or cotton laces, it's a wire system that tightens up to your comfort when you twist the button on the front. When you want `` out '' you pull the button out and the tongue loosens right up. Very convenient. I would recommend this boot for mostly active activities. We bought my daughter the platform ultra mini Uggs for Xmas. She decided she ’ d rather have the ultra minis original height instead. We could not find them anywhere!!! I did one last search 2 weeks after Xmas and I found that Dick ’s carries the exact color and size we were looking for. I have the taller version of these boots that are great for when I wear leggings but I really wanted the shorter pair to wear with cuffed jeans and I love them. I love the height, they are really easy to get on and off and with the shearling lining, they are very comfy. I wear them all the time!

Bought these for the Chiefs games! I normally wear a 8 or 8 1/2 in shoes and I bought an 8 in these hunter boots. With regular socks there is quite a bit of space. So thick socks will these be prefect!! Along with the shearling insulation my feet will be able to withstand all temps!

Ended up going in store to find these after, I tried purchasing them at DSW and then DSW sent me the wrong boot not even what was ordered. Sadly they didn ’ t have them in store spoke to two of the associates at the Scarborough ME location and one of the guys help me order them and he got them here next day so very appreciative. I was thinking about getting XtraTuf boots for a long time but never had any reason to until I started needing a waterproof boot that wasn ’ t a full tall winter boot. I ’ m glad I got them. They aren ’ t breathable( as I expected) due to the waterproofing of the boot, but the fact that they are short boots helps them breathe a little more than a tall boot. They are very comfortable and I have even wore them for short hikes because I decided not to change my shoes. They have quickly became my everyday winter shoe/boot. I love the purple color, it is so fun, but when mud splashed on them it stays visible until you wash it off. The one time I did scrub them off they did clean up relatively nicely, but if you want an easier maintenance boot, I would get a darker color.
