A couple of weeks ago, Muck Boot sent me a pair of boots to try out. I ’ ve worn them for everything from ag field days to foraging herbs in the woods, to the steam threshers event, to going to the grocery store. They are by far the most comfortable boots I ’ ve ever worn. My favorite thing is that the sole is soft and “ bouncy ”. I ’ m a very active person who has chronic pain. Good shoes are very important to help keep the pain as minimal as possible. These do the trick. [ First off, these are so much more comfortable than I expected! They fit perfect with jeans or skinny jeans. I sprayed them with a water bottle as a test to the waterproof claim and the water beaded and rolled right off. The inserts are thick and have a ton of cushion to add to the overall comfortability. OMG I CAN NOT say enough about these boots.... I will be ordering them in all 3 colors. I had yet to find a hiking boot that didnt cause me foot pain, blisters, or hot spots.... until now. These fit my feet perfectly. The toe box is typically where i struggle with hiking boots- blisters and pain of the great toe and medial ball of foot. Even while breaking these in I did not experience either of these issues. I have tried SO many other brands without finding the right fit.... i resorted to hiking Montana's Mountains in luna sandals because i could not find a hiking shoe/boot that didnt cause foot pain. Needless to say sandals and mountains are not ideal BUT they were better than the issues i had prior to trying these bogs boots! These will be the only hiking boot i will ever wear!!! This is my third pair of Xtratuf boots, I have a tall pair and a regular deck boot pair--- I 've been wearing them for at least 5 years. The boots I have are great but not the warmest and I 've always wished I could find a warm Xtratuf boots. Well these boots are IT! With a midweight wool sock, these boots kept my feet warm when it was pretty dang cold. And I love the color scheme, girly without looking unserious. I 'm surprised no one has reviewed these yet but everyone deserves to know, these are great boots!

Recommend sizing down if 1/2 size- I 'm a solid 7. 5 with wide forefoot and went for 7, perfect fit even with thicker socks, never pinches through the forefoot and toe( always an issue for me). Also love the rubber wedge on ankle exterior, for kicking off using toe of other boot without wearing down the heel seam.

I imagine like most Sorel boots these would wear well but I found the soles were really stiff and the boots were slightly wide for my feet, so I returned them. Because I never wore them in wet weather I 'm not sure how waterproof they actually are but the sole and lower portion of the boot seems well insulated for precipitation.

I ’ m on my second Canadian winter with these. Very warm, very comfortable. They ’ re tall, almost up to my knee, and fit snug around my leg( though not “ tight ”) so as not to have huge gaps where snow can get in. The Vibram Ice sole works — good traction on slippery surfaces. Note, however, these boots are not light, nor are they flexible like cheap boots — there ’ ll be no trips strolling in the mall with these. These are serious boots for serious cold.

I was thinking about getting XtraTuf boots for a long time but never had any reason to until I started needing a waterproof boot that wasn ’ t a full tall winter boot. I ’ m glad I got them. They aren ’ t breathable( as I expected) due to the waterproofing of the boot, but the fact that they are short boots helps them breathe a little more than a tall boot. They are very comfortable and I have even wore them for short hikes because I decided not to change my shoes. They have quickly became my everyday winter shoe/boot. I love the purple color, it is so fun, but when mud splashed on them it stays visible until you wash it off. The one time I did scrub them off they did clean up relatively nicely, but if you want an easier maintenance boot, I would get a darker color.

They are seriously so cute and comfortable, and I love that they ’ re ankle height — they ’ re perfect for rainy days without feeling like you ’ re wearing big, bulky rain boots. The quality feels great, and they go with so many outfits! My only downside is that they do run a little small. I normally wear a women ’s size 7, but I ended up needing an 8 for a comfortable fit. Definitely consider sizing up. Other than that, I have nothing but good things to say!

These boots are wonderful. My first week in them I drove the from Haines AK to Anchorage AK in October. They were perfect for the wet, the snowy, and the cold. My only concern is how long they will hold up, looking forward to finding out!

Just returned from AK and I had the chance to wear these in ice and snow. They are very stable, I did n't slip at all. The fit is nice because it allows for a thicker sock, but I did order my usual size. The sole has a noticeable cushion, which I like. There is a low pile/fleece lining that feels good! I own many pairs of Xtratufs and these are probably going to be one of my favorites!

First pair of xtratufs that I ’ ve bought and I could not be happier. I had a pair of Blundstones prior to these bad boys and I can say I prefer the tufs over those. They have a lot more room for a thicker sock and there is plenty of room in the ankle to be able to slip these on quickly. When these need to be retired I will be buying another pair of tufs.

I ’ m a w8 and I ordered a 6. They ’ re so easy to get on and they ’ re super comfortable. I held them up to my w8 ultra minis and there are some slight differences. The opening on the kids is shorter and wider, the front is a little rounder, and the platform is a little shorter.
