I had a pair of Muckmaster boots and they lasted for 4 winters of daily dog walks, maintaining their waterproof quality even after the sole of one boot started to come away. My wife bought me a pair of these Arctic Sport boots and apart from the logo at first sight they appear( and fit) identical to the Muckmasters. The extra thermal protection does not change the fit. I have no intention of using these boots for riding or cleaning stalls. I will use them for Winter Walk and forays in the forests and beaches shooting( photography) wildlife. I took them out for our first snowfall walk. They are comfortable and warn. It was 20 degrees and I wore only a dress weight alpaca sock. My feet were never cold. There was plenty room for me to wear a heavier weight sock. I did encounter some wet spots along the marsh and my feet were totally dry. I will note that these boots do not have lug soles, so they were slick walking up snow covered steep slopes. This is not a knock on these boots for me. I have Yaktrax Diamond grips and Kahtoola Micro Spikes- both fit over these beefier boot. I love the ease of slipping into with the optional pull tabs( which I didn ’ t need to use.). The last pair of “ rubber boots ” I owned were snug to pull on. The liner is great. I ’ m sure these will be what the doctor ordered for my Winter Adventures. I wear 10. 5 Wide typically. The 11 and Medium width were perfect.

I received my boots 6- weeks ago and have worn them a dozen times building mountain bike trails in Northern California. The boots are very comfortable, have great traction and warm in cool weather. What I like best about the boots is that I am sure footed when working on steep grades, in mud, and in thick bushes. Plus having to hike in to get to a trail section may be over a mile which is no problem with these boots, just a joy splashing through rivers, muck, you name it.

[ I 've been looking for an alternative to my Xtratuffs and came across these. The comfort on the midsole is what I was really looking forward too. Long days on my feet on a 10+ hour workday means I need all the comfort I can get and so far these shoes have met my expectations. So far the outer water protection layer is holding up. The only downside I 've found so far is the opening to the shoe is narrow and I have to wear long socks or pants that come down to protect my shins from all the rubbing and hitting from walking.

I usually wear an 8 and these fit perfect true to size. They are like pillows on your feet. There is no arch support inside the boot so if you need that you might want to add your own inserts. I bought these beginning 2025 and main complaint I read was hard to determine on due to narrow opening. I have a skinny foot and hold on to both loops to slip on shoe. I could see if you have a thick or wide foot you may have issues getting it on but once you get into the boot it is not right. Easy to get off. I know these were designed for deck shoes on a boat and I could see they have a bottom created for that. If you walk on snow or frozen surfaces they are NOT good for that at all. I almost fell on my toosh walking on these on hard frozen surfaces. Rubber gets hard on the bottom and traction is not built for that. I walked down a muddy bank and slid all the way down to the creek due to no traction on the bottom. I love the boots for walking my dog and fishing in our boat. The cushion is awesome. They do hold stains if you get in red dirt. You need to wash them off immediately or they hold the stain. In general for some reason the cushiony material sucks up grime and they are hard to keep looking good even after scrubbing they need to add something to the cushion part of boot to block the grime. I bought the purplish swirl boot color.

The color is neutral and these fit true to size. If you wear thick socks, size up a half size. Otherwise your normal size will work. They have great traction so I don ’ t anticipate busting but butt in the snow. These are built to last so I ’ ll have them for all inclement weather for years.

The outside is suede and leather and the inside has an incredibly warm and soft fleece lining. The rubber sole gives support and traction which is a MUST here in northern New York during the winter months! I did find that this boot runs quite small. I wear these shoes to work every day and everywhere. Tough as nails and looks great even beat up. I never complain about foot pain anymore with these. The soles are so tough and the wear is minimal. The leather does wear out after a while meaning a looser fit but the hide hold up. I 'm on my 3 or 4th pair.

[ I am normally a size 6 but tried the 7 since that ’s what was available. I figured I am wearing heavier socks in the winter. The fit is good, even with thinner socks. There is room so it doesn ’ t feel too big or too small. All of that fur will definitely keep my feet warm in the winter. It hits about mid calf for me, which I like. Buy these shoes every year for our daughter. I believe this will be her 4th pair. They keep her feet warm& dry. Our temp here in the PNW doesn ’ t get too low( lowest around 20 degrees), so I can ’ t vouch for how it would do in the single digits. They fit true to size. They are a bit stiff in the ankles the 1st day of wear, but still comfy. I have the adult version& love how cozy& comfortable they are for hiking in the snow or cold rain. I buy them a half size larger than I do even my regular boots( 1/2 size up for semi- thick socks, full size up for extra thick socks) to accommodate very thick& fuzzy Columbia socks( so cozy!), but our daughter doesn ’ t like to wear super thick socks, so I buy her regular size. These boots can withstand a lot of use without showing much wear. Each year we give away her outgrown boots& they barely look used. These boots do run a little small, so after returning a couple of pairs( they were out of stock in stores, so we had to have them shipped each time)- we finally got it right. He is a normal size youth 5. 5- and we ended up with a size youth 7 for these boots. We went with the all black. Quality boots and `` fuzzy '' inside like my son wanted. They are a little heavier, but I guess with larger feet and quality materials, weight is gained on footwear. They keep his feet dry and warm when out in WI winters- so we are happy.

[ First off, these are so much more comfortable than I expected! They fit perfect with jeans or skinny jeans. I sprayed them with a water bottle as a test to the waterproof claim and the water beaded and rolled right off. The inserts are thick and have a ton of cushion to add to the overall comfortability.
