I bought this a few weeks back to finish my home gym. After having some hit and miss experiences with Ethos products in the past, I figured I 'd give them another shot for as attractive as this price is. Honestly, i was surprised at the quality and stability once i got it put together. It's comparable to some much more expensive half racks I 've used at commercial gyms, which was very impressive to me. Only reason I 'm not giving 5 stars is because the included J Hooks are terrible. They are extremely short and coated in rubber, which causes issues with both putting the bar into place safely, and the bar `` sticking '' on the rubber. I bought a replacement set of Yes4All 3x3( 1 inch hole) J Hooks off amazon for$ 40 which completely resolved this issue - feels way more like commercial hooks now. These also have a locking knob on the back that prevents the J Hook from moving making it way more stable as well. See pic I 've included of comparison. Since this was resolved as such a low price, it's not that big of a deal but definitely worth doing in my personal opinion. All in all, very happy with the purchase and would recommend to anyone looking for a half rack/ smaller rack for their home gym.

Since I live locally, I was able to just drive up and pick it up myself. The build took me about 2 hours and overall it is high quality and very sturdy. It does n't wobble when I lift or do pull - ups and the optional Lat Pulldown attachment I ordered works great. My one gripe would be the. 8 inch holes that are drilled into the 2X2 tubing. Most standard accessories use 1 inch holes, so I 'll have to wait for Sunny Fitness to release additional attachments( dip bars, landmine, etc.) in the future in order to get more out of the product. _x000D_ _x000D_ Still, it's a great piece of equipment for the price.

What an unbelievable value. This rack is rated for 1000 lbs, has good space and feels very stable. The 1000 lbs capacity is more than plenty. I can work up to 400 lb deadlift, 280 squat, 220 bench press without any issues. I purchased the lat pull down attachment and have been very satisfied.

The bar is easy to attach and take off for quick changes while exercising. My 11 year old son works out with me and it is even easy for him to make quick changes in height to the bar. It is secure and will not come off accidentally while doing pulling exercises like inverted rows. The diamond __quote__knurling__quote__ make it secure even though we still use chalk, but it feels good on the hands and is not at all abrasive. So it wont tear up your hands. Great for elevated pushups, for inverted rows, lower height bar for pullups when teaching kids. Overall very satisfied. Even my wife uses it for pushups and rows.
